Truth is, a truly HARD PUNCH is like a bell being rung: it stays still, but is vibrating . The human body is mostly water - so when it’s struck suddenly with power, there’s a shock wave running throughout the body- like Foreman says “you feel it all the way down to your toes”

    He started boxing late and
    turned professional at 30
4 years later he fought against Ali and was 10 rounds ahead on the leaderboards
Had a brutal fight with Foreman
    And knocked out Earnie Shavers

I have straight up grown to love Mr. Foreman, not just his Meineke papa bear form but back to a time when he was the most feared man alive. He has always been thoughtful, fair, honest and a soft-but-well spoken gentleman. We are lucky to still be graced by his noble presence to this day.

The Foreman/Lyle fight is the biggest slug-fest I've ever seen. Foreman couldn't even lift his arms to defend himself in the final round, only to throw punches.
Foreman fights are like fights you see in Rocky films. The Frazier fights, the winning the title at 45, the going the distance with Holyfield at 42 and losing but smiling at the end because he knew he'd done the impossible just to go the distance and get the opportunity at age 42 after not fighting for a decade.

Cleaveland Williams"the Mountain", was a great fighter who many believe could've beat Mohammad Ali if they had fought before Williams was shot by a Houston cop, with a 357 magnum. Williams had been pulled over by the cop, for a traffic violation. When Williams exited his car, the cop was so intimidated by Williams's hieght that he immediately shot Williams in the stomach for no other reason. Williams survived the gun shot from the 357, but never fought the same again.
