Thankful for such great friends in the business! Well hello there gorgeous!
Big thanks to my brother Brent Puje Trumpets for making this beauty. Just in time for my trip... not sure I'll take it but it is going to be hard not to.
I have had literally 40+ messages and PM's TODAY asking to do a video. I will do another one once I'm fully acclimated to the instrument but here you go. This particular build I asked for Brent to make me a horn that leaned more towards the flugel side of things. I had a Monette Cornette for a while but found myself being frankly afraid to take it to gigs because of the high value. A good friend of the shop then called offering to buy it and I then sold it ;-)
Brent's horn IMHO is a bit more versatile sound wise. It really speaks best with our TF mouthpiece but also can bark with a commercial piece.
I think this will be my dream solo horn from now on. Stay tuned to the development process.

That's fx piece is insane.
Brent built me a Shorty - I play it every day. A very flexible cross between trumpet and cornet. Beautiful rich flexible sound. A little more air resistance - closer to a cornet. Awesome compact look. Definitely my favorite horn!

I think the MOD is one of the most beautiful designed horns I've ever seen. I also dig the flexibility of tone. Very cool addition to the TA collection. So, what horn is now going to be bumped off 'the list'??!!!!!!!!! 🤔

More versatile. I've owned 4 flumpets throughout the years. Also doesn't way 6 pounds.

Monette Cornette
Well since I actually owned one of those I will disagree. That horn is fabulous of course but this is brighter overall and less monochromatic. The monette had an incredible sound !
