Wow, I visited Hungary in 1974, when it was still under Soviet rule. Lived on the Buda side with my grandma for a couple of months. We went to Esztergom and i remember these 2 giant stone angels flanking the entrance to the crypt that was under the basilica.
Oh, my goodness! How dramatic! Love how 1 can see the ancient castle walls, ramparts & tower foundations around that impressive building. Doubtlessly placed there to guard that bend in the river, centuries ago. Yes, this is Europe in all its glory. Thank you, friend.
Nice views ! I‘ ve been there 48 years ago . Could you name the music you combined with the video please ? I lloved the cello piano piece in the middle . Thank you . Silvia
Thanks for your video. I might be there in May 2024. I will have my drone and it's registered in Italy. Any problems flying in Esztergom ? Police or town folks ? Happy travels.
No problems. At least I didn't have any issues...was flying even over Budapest. In practice its impossible to find drone operator if u have dji drone with 2 km range at least and can stay in the air 20 mín at least. But of course not so much from visible locations...I was even flying over Venice, Rome, Ostia. One just need to find "safe place" to take off, not to be reachable at once. But Hungary is really drone friendly...I was taking off from in front of Esztergom Cathedral, really nobody bothers there. At least people don't care in Hungary. But its all up to you. I don't encourage to anything illegal:)
@IcelandExplorer hi, I appreciate your reply. I'm thinking of flying on the Buda side. Mostly over the river across the parliament building but far enough away. Maybe from Gellert Hill. Prague is full of no-fly zones, so maybe not there. Cesky Krumlov looks nice from just outside of the town center. BTW, if you're from Iceland, I really enjoyed the police murder mystery series on TV 😀.
Excellent choice of music and the music fade-out at the end was perfect!!!!
Hungary seems to be a very pretty country. A lot of history in some of those buildings. Very pretty music with this video. Thanks Roman.
That is an incredible view! Thanks so much for sharing! Many blessings! 🤩👌
Beautiful video.
Thank you Roman. Beautiful building. (s) . The best to you.

Looks to be under repair? Fascinating architecture. Raises many questions for me....
