I am 45 years old, I am going to have this type of heart surgery soon, the diagnosis is regurgitation of the mitral valve.
this video explained a lot to me and helped me understand, I can't say I'm not afraid of surgery, only a fool isn't afraid, I just accepted it the way it is and I have to do it to improve my quality of life. I expect nothing, and I hope for the best.

I was recommended the Magdalena Clinic in Krapina.

Remember that they give you pretty potent stuff to send you to sleep for several hours. I don't actually remember waking up in ICU, but the amount of tubes and cables attached is mind boggling! I was in ICU for 6 days until my heart rhythm was up to speed.

Hi it was such a useful information, I m 42 years old and I had dubble chamber on right ventricle which creat narrowness to blood goes to lungs also minor aortic valve leakage, and my open heart surgery is due soon.
