The fact that people didnt go absolutely bonkers when this was done is insane. so very good
Matilda is one of the best stories ever and it's a CHILDREN'S STORY. Because Mrs. Wormwood is actually so right in this song. The teacher (idk her name) has a problem with not being loud and therefore doesn't stand up to the principal (i forgot her name too 😭) which is her main problem.

i absolutely love this guy's version of Rudolpho. never seen the broadway prod do that kind of sas for his character as far as i know

Most of the time when you’re watching a musical you can’t really tell what a lot of the lyrics are, but this Mrs. Wormwood wasn’t having any of that!
it's because she had a mic and that mic is recording only her voice (probably for this video) which doesn't capture the bad acoustics of the room and most of the noise the audience makes
You have to understand "Loud" is the matching song of "Quiet"
Ok, not only is the singing and breath control here incredible, but they are doing it all while dancing! And they are doing an incredible job at that too! Have a blessed week everyone:)
I’m playing Mrs. Wormwood in my camps production of Matilda Jr. and I’m so sad I don’t get to perform this song! Also Rudolpho is absolutely slaying!

@@GIOW1 that’s okay! I get some solo lines in the song and there’s a lot of dancing so I’m okay with it. Plus I’m the lead in another play rn so I don’t wanna do too much.

I’m doing this show with my theatre class and I got Rudolpho! But turns out Loud was cut for the junior production 😭

Such a shame they cut this song (after they filmed it, no less) from the film, it's one of the best. Such energy here!
How did you get the stage design exactly like the west end and Broadway?!?!
We had an incredible set designer and a ton of helping hands to make each of the letters! Fun fact, this theatre now rents out the letter tiles to other theatres to utilize for Matilda!

Hope they got permission from the original designers to do an almost exact copy of their design.

@@andruemorgan6217 Its actually quite impressive what this theatre did with a budget WAY under Broadway's budget, less time, and less resources.
Any tips anyone? I’m trying (and hopefully) to get Mrs.Wormwood for my 8th grade musical this fall.
No I played Matilda Wormwood but just go in there and do your best. Only be Mrs. W when you are auditioning. Be on you best behavior and if your nervous dont show it. Warm up your voice and be sharp. Let me know how its goes. Good luck.😊

Gingy insert I may be able to get one of those up. They weren’t my parts so I don’t know if I have permission. So we will see. Both of those were amazing. Naughty was mind blowing from these kids!
