I also have about 50 new vehicles for the mod, and a lot of script updates. Thankfully there's far less protests now because I've gotten tired of those callouts too.
The "secret" method for stopping protests is, I shit you not, T-posing to assert dominance. Use the halt command on your officers and the aggro people, even those who attack officers will walk away.
I still think you should give Hill Street Blues a try. Let the creator know how he can improve it because the dude is trying to learn from me.
