This is a great video. I watched it before replacing the headlight assembly on our Van. This was truly helpful. I was able to replace the headlight in just 10 minutes. Thanks for posting this.
Good info! It looks like I ordered the same headlights you did and I also had to move the clip! Thanks! Also watched a few of your other videos, very helpful for my 01 Venture.
Thank you! At the end of this video you mentioned that you would post a follow up video on how to adjust the headlights after they have been installed. If you have done that will you please share the link?
Can u make a video on radiator and radiator fans on the Chevy venture mine completely burnt out and my radiator has a leak I don't know where to start I'm kinda new to fixing my own cars
Isn’t that exactly backwards? The driver’s side should aim slightly lower than the passenger side, right? It’s to stay out of the opposing driver’s face.
Today I got delivery on the same headlights for my 2002 Silo. $75 from Amazon, boxed and packed the same way with stickers adhered to the openings. I hope you didn't leave your headlights on too long. The heat would make the plastic stick to the lights. Oh, mine did not come with bulbs and the seller said they wouldn't. I wanted to watch a video before installing and had to laugh because when I started out the door it started to rain. Here's a tip. After washing your car apply Aerospace protectorant 303 (available all over) to the lights and buff them with a microfiber cloth - not wipe, buff them. My daughter has a 2002 Explorer and her headlights could pass for brand new. That is not an exaggeration. If you never wash the car at least treat the lights to a frequent bath and beauty treatment. LOL
Mine were actually much worse! When the headlight bulb blew on the driver’s side I found it actually blew UP due to water intrusion. The lens fell right off when I tried to shake the bulb glass bits out, so I couldn’t just replace the bulb. Both sides were almost completely opaque and had cracks in the turn signal housings so I bought a complete set of replacements. When the replacements arrived the turn signal bulb sockets on BOTH sides cracked and crumbled when I tried to move them. I had to loose-fit the signal bulbs for one day while I ordered replacement sockets only to find out that they also double as marker lights so it melted one of the new housings. Doh! While doing all this I tried to fold my side view mirror for more room only to have it tear off the van so I needed one of those too. I soon realized that there were TWO sets of alternating turn signal bulbs in the same housing (weird) and the smaller ones were simply blown on both sides, so I had to replace those bulbs too. When trying to adjust the headlight aim I ran out of adjustment and the adjuster just completely disconnected, so I can’t even back it up. From the lens to the mirror to the bulb sockets, to the adjuster screw: it’s as if everything I touch on this van just self-destructs. I’m STILL dealing with all this weeks later. About the only pleasant surprise was finding that TYC includes bulbs with their replacement headlight housings.
Thanks for your video. I've watched it over here in Manila, Philippines. May I just ask, is the lens are made of plastic or glass? Thank you and more power.

Thanks, helped me change headlights for an old venture that I got running
I appreciate your video and your tripod so much. Don't give me a headache like others... Thanks for posting this video. Very helpful
Very informative, was looking to see how to replace the bulb and from your video I could tell how it could be done. Thank you.

Great video, thanks! Can you post a link to the headlights and marker lights? Having trouble finding a replacement for my 'o3.

Do you have video how to remove or install the front bumper?
Just bought a set for mine it's been struggle. New side piece does not want to sit properly in place.
Mine did come with bulbs, so how do you connect it? How do you take off the old bulb? I just need to connect the wire or the plug.

Dot 3 brake fluid will clean the lense no scrubbing. Wipe on wipe off.

😂 nice edit at 4:22-4:24
If you click and watch 4:22 out of context, it would make a funny meme . " issues" walks away right back lol
I just have one highbeam light not working. How do I fix that. But I agree. Worst headlights ever.
