But chances of that is 1/16 or 6.25 percent. Marowak is good at what he does. Cheap set up with high damage. If they didn't put Rng in him he would absolutely destroy the game. So that 25 percent chance each turn of him doing 0 damage and 50 percent of him doing 80 damage (the other 25 percent of the time you high-roll into 160) is a good thing in a balance sense. And the risk is worth it considering you can bring him online really early (literally the second turn in the best case scenario). He is meant to be an aggro card, like Pikachu but less set up. I'll surely have fun with him when I get him.
If we look at card games having three different main arch types: aggro, combo, and control where usually Aggro loses to control Control loses to combo Combo loses to aggro The Aggro decks are: Pikachu Ex Dugtrio marowak The combo decks: Moltres and charizard Misty and articuno Gardevoir and mewtwo The control decks are: Venusaur heal Sleep dragonite Koga Koffing I haven’t played the game yet but this seems correct.
Dragonite requires finding your pieces in the early game and is definitely a combo deck. Koga bounce intends to find Koga, poison the enemy with Weezing and deal heavy damage with Muk, it’s also a combo deck. Pidgeot decks, Gengar decks and trainer-heavy decks are what I would consider “control”.
The Pokémon TCG does not have combo decks as you call it, every deck has a combo, but there are not archetypes like in yugioh, so there should be only aggro and control/lock.
There was a point in time when I still played PTCGO where I had a Rapidash meme deck and that Rapidash had a similar effect where it would shield itself on a successful coin flip. Really fun to just meme around with.
Wait till you get a double tails in consecutive rows, this deck is pure chaos.
Me: when I use Marowak ex
I'm missing 1 Marowak and the trio line. But I have the Pidgey line so I'll just run that once I get another Maro
@@osoperezoso2608 use your other hourglasses for the 1/5 pulls, it's better than finding exs in single packs.

@@dark3176 if it has a chance to happen it will happen, trust me.
I doubt. Coin flips are supposed to be 50/50, but I'm nearing a sample size of 100 and I swear I'm only winning them around 40%, maybe less
To be fair, percent chances are out of a hypothetical billions of tests
I have two Marowak EX before two common cubones... Not the only cards where I have this similar problem. Don't know if this is consider lucky or not.

Personnaly I play a gengar ex + wigglituff ex, a nice control deck. Gengar ex is really underestimated.
Lets go gambling!
Try this deck IMMEDIATELY! Got 7 shields with dugtrio and took out a venasuar ex with dig haha
