THREEology // The Lord's Prayer: Episode 7

This summer, we'll be talking about the Lord's Prayer. This famous prayer in Matthew 6 teaches us a lot about the ways we hear from (and talk to) God. As we study this prayer, we'll see why prayer is so important and how it not only changes things, but changes us.
This week, we'll be looking at the phrase "Give Us Today Our Daily Bread." Earlier in the prayer, we already acknowledged our dependence on the Father. Now, our requests get practical. Jesus' words here remind us that God is not only the source of life, He's the source of the things we need to live. When we ask for our daily bread, we asking God to give us the very things we need to survive.
