They've even been known to form packs like wolves, though they're usually loners. Attacks on humans are rare but not unheard of. Only 2 fatal attacks have ever been recorded in North America (and one was a child), but non-fatal attacks can also ruin your day... or week... or life... And like any other mammal they can also carry rabies, which creates an additional concern, but that concern also exists for foxes so that's neither here nor there.
It's okay because it's fake. Whoever wrote it knows fck all about how skittish coyotes are..and the wife still managed to finish breakfast before he got back to the house lol fakest part.
The story with the younger brother being killed by a bear attack and then the uncle’s suicide was absolutely heart breaking. The poor kid losing 2 close family members like that. So sad.
What i love doing is putting on these stories, crack open a beer and find a simple mindless game i can play without sound in the backround late late at night and just chill. Playing say Minecraft building something massive... Or just driving around the countryside in GTAV. It allowes me to focuse my toughts so i see the stories told as a movie in my head. Wich is weird when the gender isn't spesified and my image is totaly fractured when it went from being a he in my head to a she. HAHA!

The Story with Mack and Eric honestly had me in tears, it should be a film, it honestly felt like I was listening to an audio book. It flowed so smoothly. It had my attention from star to finish. My condolences for the family, but I’m glad OP gained a few new friends and had a happy life in the end.

Unless it's a rabid coyote or an pack of them, the changes of him dying are very small. Sure they can hurt you, if they manage to get you somehow, but they usually won't really go after an full grown adult especially a healthy one.
Preach. There have only been TWO human beings killed by coyotes in the US and Canada. And it obviously wasn’t a rabid one. The guy just sounds like an asshole who likes to kill animals.
The 6th story has the makings of one of those books you’d read in middle school and that would traumatize you, but in a way where you have a certain fondness for it your whole life.

The lesson of Story 5 isn't "anyone could die at any minute" It's "hey, if you have a cyote problem in your area.. Don't send out your small dog and small child all by themselves"

A coyote won't maul a child, and if a human lunges at one, it will run away crying. Coyotes are terrified of humans, even children that's why it was just standing there the whole time. They're more skittish than deer....
story 5: if you've been living on a farm your whole life, you should know to properly fence your garden (including putting chicken wire along the ground under the perimeter of the fence to prevent animals digging through) and not let small dogs out alone at night. huge rookie mistakes..... not sure where they live, but if you're on the east coast, coyotes are big scaredy cats. i live in the woods and hear them outside my house around my chicken run almost every night. i just open my window and start barking as loud and deep and mean as i can, or bang on a pan or something and they all run off. metal trash can lids are especially effective

Story 4 could possibly have just been a powerful creep. Maybe he didn't actually murder the women in the photos, he just coerced or threatened them into posing. If they were too ashamed to say anything and went about their lives as usual, nobody would ever know.
Story 5: Is the dad a “little person”? One coyote? For real, bruh? 🤣🤣🤣 Story 6: Bear... 🤮 That is some of the nastiest and worm-filled game. Like, you can see the worms crawling in the meat and guts as you skin and field dress them. Guh-ross.
Coyotes are small dog like creatures. They are naturally shy & don't like running into humans. I have a hard time believing that the coyote was about to rip a girl or man limb from limb. I encounter coyotes frequently. I work in a place with a river running along side the property. Lots of turkeys, coyotes & other wildlife. If I see a coyote I just give them a wide berth. If I accidently run up on one, I just say "shoo" and they run away. The guy should have set up better fences around his chickens & other live stock.
Yeah for real I don’t think this story is real because of the coyote thing and eating full grown hogs (like you can possibly get cancer haha). Someone who is imagining these animals! They should switched the hunting for coyotes (still strange) to the hogs ripping them apart 😂 also if you have hogs on your land you should not leave your dogs out, ESPECIALLY one as mall as a yorkie lmaoooo
My grandfather almost died during the 1969 blizzard on an island in the Columbia river in Oregon. He was duck hunting with his friend they were trapped by the blizzard and his friend froze to death before they could be rescued. His story was in the Oregonian

Deep woods stories used to be my favorite but I think farm stories are my new favorite. Started crying on the second to last one.

A coyote won't maul a child, and if a human lunges at one, it will run away crying. Coyotes are terrified of humans, even children that's why it was just standing there the whole time. They're more skittish than deer....
Smart to know how evil humans are. I try to avoid most of them as well
I enjoyed all but number five. A grown man shouldn't be afraid to charge a coyote.

story 5: if you've been living on a farm your whole life, you should know to properly fence your garden (including putting chicken wire along the ground under the perimeter of the fence to prevent animals digging through) and not let small dogs out alone at night. huge rookie mistakes.....
not sure where they live, but if you're on the east coast, coyotes are big scaredy cats. i live in the woods and hear them outside my house around my chicken run almost every night. i just open my window and start barking as loud and deep and mean as i can, or bang on a pan or something and they all run off. metal trash can lids are especially effective
My 20 year old little brother, who had just turned 20 the week before, died in a car wreck 2 years ago and left behind a newborn daughter. That last story was 💔
Story 4 could possibly have just been a powerful creep. Maybe he didn't actually murder the women in the photos, he just coerced or threatened them into posing. If they were too ashamed to say anything and went about their lives as usual, nobody would ever know.

Story 6: Bear... 🤮 That is some of the nastiest and worm-filled game. Like, you can see the worms crawling in the meat and guts as you skin and field dress them. Guh-ross.

Coyotes are small dog like creatures. They are naturally shy & don't like running into humans. I have a hard time believing that the coyote was about to rip a girl or man limb from limb. I encounter coyotes frequently. I work in a place with a river running along side the property. Lots of turkeys, coyotes & other wildlife. If I see a coyote I just give them a wide berth. If I accidently run up on one, I just say "shoo" and they run away. The guy should have set up better fences around his chickens & other live stock.
Yeah for real I don’t think this story is real because of the coyote thing and eating full grown hogs (like you can possibly get cancer haha). Someone who is imagining these animals! They should switched the hunting for coyotes (still strange) to the hogs ripping them apart 😂 also if you have hogs on your land you should not leave your dogs out, ESPECIALLY one as mall as a yorkie lmaoooo

My grandfather almost died during the 1969 blizzard on an island in the Columbia river in Oregon. He was duck hunting with his friend they were trapped by the blizzard and his friend froze to death before they could be rescued. His story was in the Oregonian
