Hi Roland. Thanks for the informative and entertaining video. Autopilot is pretty good on major roads but my issue with it is the lane centring when a vehicle in an adjoining lane is coming close to your side of the lane boundary. Autopilot does not adjust for this by moving a little away from the centre of the lane on to the other side. For large vehicles that come close to you this can be quite uncomfortable.
Very true! I have found on quite a few occasions that the car is quite stubborn and really holds to the middle. Then when you're on a wider turn or more of a sharper turn, it's a hit and miss on how comfortable you are letting the car steer. I'd say that I've only tested it maybe 10-15 times on the highway so it's still quite new to me!
Hmm that's odd - Perhaps I need to let it indicate a few times if that is the case... I have found that even if I indicate, it doesn't immediately drop off autosteer. Will need to give it another go, thanks!
I assume Tesla does not rely on the standard speed limits but purely on what it can 'see' ? Waze and others seem to know the standard speed limits on most roads.

Good video! FYI on the editing, you looped through the first 2 minutes or so of the video twice.
Thanks. How many minutes into it? I can't seem to see that on my end.

I found you don’t need to disengage auto steer to change lanes. Simply indicating will disengage Autosteer but keep the cruise control speed constant.

Yep. Tesla updates the speed limit based on vision.
Autopilot not Fsd? Right
Correct - Autopilot only. No FSD.
