Beautiful dress and great video! You are an excellent teacher and gave great visual and spoken advice. Thank you!🥰
Thank you!! 😊
You guys are brilliant at doing tutorials. I love seeing every step of the way, even the little steps, and up close!!
Thank you, Rhonda! I'm honestly still just trying to get the hang of it (there's lots of tripods nearly tipping over, camera batteries dying mid-take lol), but I'm getting there!
Hi Leah!
This was so fun to watch. Thank you for sharing. Do you make sewing kits (pattern, instructions + fabric) for your items? Or would that be way to much work? I understand if it is. However, if you do I'd definitely be interested.
Oh sewing kits would be so fun!
Ooooh I dont, but this has sparked a lot of fun ideas in my brain! I've been brainstorming for the past week on this, and would love your thoughts! When you say sewing kit... are you thinking it would be better if it included just the right yardage of fabric, or it would have the fabric pieces already cut out in the correct size? Also for the kit, would you prefer the pattern in digital or paper format (or both)? Would you want the notions (buttons, matching thread, elastic, etc) included, or would rather pick those out yourself somewhere else? Thank you in advance for your thoughts on this!! :)
@@charliedarwintextiles I was thinking of having the right yardage, but having it cut out would also be a great option. Some other options could be having a basic kit (pattern, instructions, fabric) but everything else as add on options (options). As for the pattern, the option of digital or paper could also be listed as available choices. Because some of these options may create added work or expense for you, you could charge accordingly. At the same time, I am assuming that those without ample sewing space, easy access to linen, beautiful buttons, other notions, a printer, would greatly appreciate having everything at hand. Or maybe its just me?😁
@@sphinxmoth1 Great ideas! I don't have a printer and would love a paper pattern like in the "old days".
