Really cool you finally bought a pair of Guidi and that you actually like it. I'm definitely sure you'll get used to this rounded toe. They are so nice in white, I tried on the exact same model yesterday but unfortunately not my size.
You already know I'm a big fan of Guidi 😉
How much do you pay?
Got a pair of LP2 in the same color I love the color and the texture quality is unique, the only problem is that it is actually impossible to keep them clean
If you don't like a round toe look, I suggest GUIDI OX series!
They really remind me on Viberg derby shoes from the side profile. Really cool shoes
Saw these on your IG and I think they're great! I think the rounded and "oversized" shape particularly works well if you wear it with wider or flowier pants like Yohji. I imagine (?) that with a more straight/slim silhouette that they will stand out more, but I think you can make it work. I also really like the white and the contrast it gives with an all black look. I think you mentioned burgundy, but probably also oxblood would be super cool, maybe on the PL2, but maybe that's too much with the heel as well 😅
I've tried a few different boots in stores and though I've also heard the advice to size up, I've fit pretty well in TTS, which surprises me a little bit to be honest. I suspect that with their dyeing process, there's some variability in the sizing and how the shoes or boots might shrink and so your mileage may vary from TTS to half or full size up depending on the pair.
I'm hoping to get a pair one day, but I'm still undecided between the front zip or the back zip (with the folded leather look). Also curious if you've ever gotten a chance to see The Last Conspiracy? They make similar boots but I've heard mixed reviews on their comfort. Would also be curious how comfortable these are for longer walks. Cheers!
Hey, so I bought some The last conspiracy Derbys. My pair has the rubber injected sole so under your heel you have a pad of very soft rubber. The first few times I wore them they hurt a little especially in the back but now I think they are comfortable. I have the original leather sole on and they are quite loud while walking but I guess you can always put vibram an and then it won't be as loud. If you have any questions regarding TLC or my experience I am happy to help.
I own a pair of TLC boots that I've had for almost two years now. I think they are great, quality and comfort. I had no issues with mine what so ever. I went TTS on those.
I also have two pairs of Guidis, one back zip and a 992 derby. I went up one size in both of them and they fit perfect.
@@paulw7491 Thanks for the feedback! I've been debating getting a pair and I tend to walk a lot so I really put a premium on comfort and functionality. I'll probably have to try a version in a store eventually but I'm eyeing the Magne re-waxed in black right now. Interesting front-ish zip and a rubber sole with a Norwegian stitch seems like it would be good for northern climates.
@@manfredmar Thanks for the feedback! Good to hear that they are comfortable for you as well!
Vinited is Europe wide but many of the countrys are region locked to their own country or certain other regions. Its super annoying.
you get used to the toe cap, i remeber how obscure it felt when i got my guidi boots but know its one of my favorite features!
Absolutely beautiful bro!
You should try the Guidi 210, doesn't have the high heel. I love my pair!
Agreed, I much prefer those over the PL models. Even the 310, but they might not be for everyone because of the length.
@@manfredmar Absolutely, I do like the 310's although I live in New Zealand so didn't have the opportunity to try them on. The 210 was the safer choice as they have that classic chelsea boot silhouette.
Nice derbies. The Viridi-Anne used to make round toe boots. The toe box looked amazing and def had that "clown" vibe.
I think it depends on the shoe if I like a round or a pointy toe cap but I also think I would prefer a pointed toe cap if I could choose
Sizing look qute sport on. Yeah im round toe person
I just got some pl2s in. I really like them. the effect the object dyeing had on them
How's the sizing?
@@AD-vg5gv In my experience for the Pl2's you should actually size down instead of sizing up.
@@AD-vg5gv TTS. I wear a 41 in slp and got a 41 in the PL2s
...rounded or pointed toecap, depents on many facts but for me a 'usual' round cap fits better (love combat style) & pointed often make me think of cowboy boots ;-)
CCP tornado's are outstanding, of course! i have very old martin margiela ankle boots, with a 'square' (?) cap, also nice, maybe not so common nowdays...
Hey, there are also front-zip Guidis with a lower heel. I am very happy with my 210. Check them out.
I have a pair of 210s. For some reason the right boot squeaks like hell when I walk. Tried to have guidi fix it and they couldn’t. Drives me crazy lol
The guidussy
its sunday again
These are a little boring for me to be really engaged in. I guess if I had them in my hands I would probably be more appreciative of the build quality and the imperfections. This is something that the cameras probably don't do justice for. They remind me of the movie "Drive" though, so that's cool!
Im more in to point toe since i look like a dummy with round toe lolll
I used to be a big fan of guidis, but they are not that confirmable.
Really? Everything I've worn is very comfortable
@@fredk6992 yep. Their sole is way too hard no matter how long I've worn them. I still keep 6 pairs of them but none of them is my daily wear anymore.
@@tom43x34 isn't that more of a problem with leather soles in general?
The nails inside the shoes, I don't get the point of suffering
You don't feel them
that doenst make you suffer
