This video is a perfect example why I come to this channel.... I like to learn of Japanese palates. Shinichi and Satoshi share their opinions of home made and commercial foods. This 100 Yen (i.e. dollar store) tasting is absolutely perfect; i.e. they describe what western people may like and not like compared to Japanese people. Thanks guys!
More! More! I’ve always wondered what’s in those packages! But the selection is overwhelming! Thanks for giving me some ideas about things to try You guys rock
You guys are truly fantastic. My girlfriend and I started watching with the Vending Machine videos and have since explored a lot of your channel. We love your recipes and adventure videos, but these 100 yen store hauls are always fun to watch. Thank you for all of the amazing content, keep being awesome guys.
Lot of sweet snacks today! Need to get more savory snacks for Satoshi....or make him try the wasabi chocolate again. The expressions he had for that are hilarious!
I'm so glad you guys made a part 2! This, as always, was very SWEET to watch! 😄 You guys have to try the Tohato Caramel Corns (they are mine and my pet parrot's favourite) it comes in many flavours but the best one is Almond in my opinion! I always get them when I visit Daiso 😊.
we have yokan every new years... I've never really liked it tho! it is quite sweet. I love datemaki. Now that's one of my favorite osechi! I've got check out Daiso for the Green teas. I'm very particular about it and i usually prefer the tea leaves. Can't wait to see if these ones taste good. Oh, and just had to say... i love your channel! So entertaining with all the food taste tests of foods from different stores and vacation vlogs. Those were my favorite- hearing about all the different foods where ever you visit. And, I always love any cooking vids. You inspire me to try different things... so thanks and keep it up!
Everything looked great! Daiso is surprising with how well they do with 100 yen snacks, I think. I am eager to visit a Daiso store here, and see if they have any of the same snacks in our stores! The green tea sounds very good. Thank you for the video!
I am really loving Daiso! I so wish there was one near me.... The "dollar" stores in Maryland are so low quality in the food department, and only really good for holiday decorations and paper products.... My daughter and I would have way too much fun in a Daiso because we would try all the snacks and treats, lol! Good quality for less, my kind of store! Thanks guys!
I think i like the chocolate with the rum and the macha. plus inwant to try the macha tea you promoted. i hope i can buy japanese products here in Chicago.
Hi again... Your vids are amazing, and it is so much fun to watch you. I am a new subbie, and have been for over a month now. Thank you so much. Have a fun evening. Surie
I love yokan! We only had it on special occasions. The green tea and the matcha chocolate looked great! Thanks for showing us the Daiso snacks! I usually buy senbei from there.
Daiso can sell some higher-quality things especially their Foods because they buy in huge bulk and they get better prices when they buy more from somebody.
As always, enjoyable to watch. I love matcha & green tea but I can't drink them because they make me extremely hungry even if I've just eaten. Does anyone get that too?
Think of the comparison of 'jelly vs jam'; 'kanten' is like 'jelly' while 'yokan' is like 'jam'! Makes sense, right? I like kanten, but prefer yokan. mmm
ohh I love all these matcha green tea flavoured things, would love to taste them too yuumm*^* and I have to say that I noticed how you improve your skill in your videos about tasting treats and showing them, describing how it tastes (not only good oder sweet) or how the texture is so it's like you painting a picture in our imagination so we can see and understand :D maybe it's because I watched today "EmmyMadeInJapan" and she's the goddess of describing foods. I follow you some years now and at first there were big differences (on the point of describing) but today I felt you absolutely reached her, it's amazing how you work on your videoe in all these times but still are the two charming lovely heartwarming ones I just love to watch :3 oh and please don't get me wrong, I don't want to compare you and her, or wish that you to be like her no no no it's only the point of how to describe the food for the viewers, it would still be fun even you would just eat without mention anything food related XD lovely greeting ^^/
You two are one of the cutest couples out there!
Lily J. Thomas they are couple?
from my understanding, yes. They had Q&A where they discussed when they met, how long they have been together etc.
Yes they are. They make my heart smile! 😃

I love those caramel corn puff things! I forgot what they're called. 😅 They come in different flavors like pudding, matcha and stuff. :))
I found the matcha chocolates in an Asian food store near me one time and they were so good. Too bad they’ve never ordered them in again.
going to daiso soon to buy all these stuff to try!
I love yokan! We only had it on special occasions. The green tea and the matcha chocolate looked great! Thanks for showing us the Daiso snacks! I usually buy senbei from there.
I want the green tea!!
I'd like to try the green tea, green tea chocolate and the black sesame marshmallow (from part 1)
Daiso can sell some higher-quality things especially their Foods because they buy in huge bulk and they get better prices when they buy more from somebody.

Torori means "Melting" or Melty. That was for the chocolate. It is good to try things at 100yen shop.
