Glen Clova (John Herbecq)

Glen Clova composed by John Herbecq is a 4 x 32 bar strathspey for 4 couples in a longways set. The dancers in this demonstration attended the 2024 Riverwood Downs weekend of Scottish Country dancing hosted by the Colleges class (Newcastle) in the Hunter Valley Branch of the RSCDS in November 2024. Cathy McLeod, a visiting teacher from Brisbane, taught us the dance in her workshop and we gave it our best shot!
