Akomana Dr, I don’t have the words to describe how knowledgeable and open minded you are. What a mind!!! Proud to have a Zimbabwean like yourself represent us and challenging us all around.
I have rarely came across a sober minded and full of wisdom person , Dr is a charmer those you mentored/ mentoring are luckiest individuals , thanks Trevor for finding this for this conversation
We are doomed....we will never change this mindset when our youth follow Ginimbi, Olinda, Pokello, Wicknell or Roland. We lack the substantial inspiration that we need. We can only do better if our leadership allow our progressively minded country men and women speak out objectively not just the rich who flash what they have just bought in the name of so called hustling (privileged thieving). Whoever comes on the show after this man has to be equally exceptional. Now can we please have the likes of Dr Chibanda, the (Mohamed) Mussa family, Cont Mhlanga, James Mushore, Stephanie Travers, Divine Ndlukula, Andy Flower, Heath Streak, Nick Price, the Blacks, Angus Shaw etc Thanks in advance 🙏🏾
He secured his life when Zimbabwe was heaven on earth. Im glad he feels for the poor & poor state of our hospitals compared to before. May your ancestors keep an eye on you.
Guramatunhu is a name that became a household name when I was growing up in Harare. Heard so many good things, and I have not been disappointed. I hope we'll have more like him in our country. Really appreciate this Trevor. It's so refreshing.
Thank you Trevor. I absolutely enjoy your show. Doctor Guramatunhu is a truly great Zimbabwean. Would it be possible to get in addition to the eye surgeon the likes of Ms Pindie Nyandoro, Mr Sternford Moyo, Mr Nigel Chanakira, Mr Strive Masiyiwa etc
Ndabvuma hangu muface uyu ano flexer hake... but ano flexer zviri classy and zviri inspirational zvatosiyana ne"vamwe" vatajaira vatinogaro ona pa soshomidhia. By vamwe l mean wawafunga iyeye ndiye.
Rich in all aspects...he can beat you in the intellectual debate then dazzle you in dancing. Wow, thank you Trevor, for such an enlightening character you revealed.
Very true Dr, it’s unfortunate that we do not realise who we are, am with you 100% our people need to be educated & appreciate ourselves, other races envy us but won’t let us know about.
As a scientist, I say thumbs up on a very concise explanation of the danger of human hair. Dr Guramatunhu did a fabulous job. On Zimbabwe becoming Singapore, or learning from it, I think we need to really understand what helped Singapore come up from abject poverty to what it is today. I did briefly touch on some of the salient points in the blog in the attached link. antiwarmonger.blogspot.com/2018/10/zimbabwe-aint-singapore.html?m=0
Team natural 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿 so glad I big chopped in 2018. Natural hair is beautiful. All you said is true and some information about human hair weaves very informative 🙌🏿 thank you for sharing
Tribute, bravo, kudos to the Inspirational ,down to earth, humble Eye Surgeon Specialist who continues to transform lives in different ways His generosity &philanthropy work is transforming lives in Zim& abroad.
Thank you Solomon for opening my mind and eyes about where wigs are coming from and how they are processed. I really appreciate but I have got alopetia mind my spelling.
I really enjoyed this piece. I have struggled to explain this DNA concept to people…. Well articulated. Let’s not betray who we are to trying to be something that we were never meant to be ❤
Wow! I will visit Harare next time. The Dr. is just doing my things. Tango, Zumba, Salza etc. And was in Havana as well Varadero too. I was there as well. Amazing!
i think beyond the mindset, its also very important to be in touch with the facts. These aren't everyday tourists that are true connoisseurs of art. We go to their own countries the everyday person likewise coudnt name most of the influential artists of the age. As long as you are still living with bread and water concerns then art is the furthest thing from your mind. If we truly care about our art then first we should focus on the upliftment of the masses.
hahaha, Trevor is clever! I like how he cornered the Dr. politics! Intrestingly, the Dr. is also very clever, he ducked & navigated the subject intelligently. however the answer was very clear as a result!
Wow...we have such extraordinary individuals in our country who actually love Zimbabwe and her people...yet we are forced to choose between some self loving morons who are taking us nowhere but hell.Africa,Zimbabwe in particular, need more people like him and also we have to learn.I always say people that have traveled outside Zimbabwe or Africa, actually appreciate what most people don't see or take foe granted.Let's learn to love ourselves first, then we will see the benefits.Thank for involving such an exciting and we'll humbled character in your show.
So eye opening. Didn't know the great doc is so much in art and theatre especially those Caribbean dances bla bla and bunch of many other unrelated stuff.
With such intelligent Zimbabweans like Dr. Guramatunhu, someone who is passionate about health, why have we ended up with a soldier being a minister of health?
Black queens take notes where these things coming from & old horses in the government they should opportunities to the youths not being greedy like what they re doing.
About the hair thing ,Dr , we find that imi varume when you are successful, you go for women who are lighter and have finer hair like mixed race women , so you are the ones who give us the impression that we are not good enough. You are an ex xception Dr. most men look down on us when we are natural.
mmmm its scary yet informing what our great Doctor speaks on hair, especially the much fancied 100% human hair wigs and weaves our African women pay large sums for, its a health hazard and economic manipulation...
I appreciate your insight doc..but l personally believe that how a woman wears her has nothing to do with her confidence. To me hairstyle is just a preference just like one would prefer to wear jeans , dresses n the like. It will really be a misjudgment to base one's confidence or pride in being African because of the type of hair they prefer. Short hair does not make one African l believe a person is African at heart. I personally have nothing against women with short hair just like l have nothing against women with Brazilian wigs or anything of their choice. A woman with short hair is beautiful and so is a woman with a Brazilian wigs, locks or braids ....just let her be
like really.... why do u want to drag doc to your flawed narratives/arguments... To be fair, he was talking of the mindset that has made it abnormal for black women to embrace their natural hair as beautiful.... And the thing with mindsets is you can be very confident and yet mistaken .... another thing is how you try to downplay the facts and risks presented.... As someone who has travelled a bit.... its quite odd that it is African women who will defend a callous industry and not demand better for their own beauty....
I am loving the way Doctor celebrates black queens! More men need to appreciate natural beauties.
you know a black man has made it when he starts collecting art
Kuita kwemari kunenge kudada 🤦🏾♂️
THE BLACK WOMAN, celebrated unapologetically..love it!

Thanks for Part 2 of this interview - Zim is rich, but it is our mindsets which are the problem.
