  • Adya explains that as our realization matures, it will include the full spectrum of human experience within reality-the joyful and the painful, the peaceful and the conflicted-and we will greet all our experiences with benevolence and compassion, understanding they are all expressions of true nature. Quote from this Video: “As our as our insight deepens, we stop associating reality simply with the positive aspects of consciousness. We see that consciousness in and of itself is a realm of potentiality. It has the potential to have wonderful, fantastic, ecstatic experiences and absolutely horrendous, difficult, and challenging experiences.” adyashanti.org

So true Adyashanti! Just now i am aware of what it means to be human! Almost 81 i am discovering that there is no opposition, only what i call nowadays ‘inner and outer’ and this to me means being human. So thank you. Right time, right people.

it resonates with me on a deep level. having started meditation 3 years ago with the intention to get rid of anxiety and depression, i have come to realise its about integratition of everything into oneness. positive or negative. not that am immune to suffering now but it has defintly gone down a notch. its hard at first to let go of the conditioned minds judging habits but even that has to be invited😅

Thank you ❤️ its like the false sense of self just clings to the idea of becoming something, when in fact it is totally opposite. Its not about adding layers and becoming, the process feels like it is removing layers of stuff to reveal what I am, what I always was..not always easy the way I feel I am being "opened", but I wouldnt have it any other way ❤

    Very important point. 👌
Up to a certain maturity these spiritual concepts serve, but in order to drop beyond, you have to let them go. At least until deeper "truth" revealed itself.
After that some cling to nonconceptuality and the absolute (what again is duality in itself)
Integration of the illusionary seem to be more difficult that waking up from them.
    Experienced this myself.

I'm finding that resisting the negative while grasping at or for the positive, and the letting go of these states through accepting them as they are not only applies to my own states but those of others. For example, when my wife is in a socalled negative mind state, instead of me trying to fix it, or falling into a negative state about her negative state, I instead allow that state as it manifests in me to just be and unfold, as it will, and fall away. I feel a sense of compassion for her, and I see that she feels heard, loved, and reassured. It as though we are one, sort of. The state in her seems to do the same, sort of, that is unfold, then fall away. The absence of resistance and grasping, or first noticing resistance and grasping, then letting that go, as difficult as that may be at first, in light of old habits, helps both of us heal as it were. Thanks Adhya for making this wisdom available, it's right at our fingertips and clear as a bell! I'm forever grateful thart a tool (youtube) with all of the problems it and other electronic media can seem to cause, is being skillfully used to cultivate wisdom ❤

I mean, relatively spoken, before my awakening i was beautiful, lean, healthy but mentally not serene...and now I'm overweight, on heart medication but have an amazing peaceful healthy mind ( apart frome being sometimes angry about the fact of being so bodily disabled in comparison to before) ...i thought the kundalini energy would heal everything...well...i guess the disidentification hasn't got enough momentum yet..🫶🙏💎 the " other side " of the absolute is sweet and intimate and indescribable... but of course, impermanent😅
May everyone have a swift return ❤
