Greatly appreciate how much goat knowledge you're willing to share in detail on your channel... Most other channels which have goats either don't have the knowledge maybe because they're still learning themselves or they just don't want to take the time to educate others like you do... The content that you put out on your channel is needed and appreciated...

When I raised purebred hogs years ago I flushed the sows and it really helped them to stay healthy and the pig litter size and weaning weights. I'm doing this with my Kikos this year as well.

When you put in are buck it depends on your whether and what the temperature is when its time for the kid's are going to to be hitting the ground you don't what it to be to worm out and you don't what it to be super cold out I think the best temperatures round 32°F to 40° F its not to cold for the kid's and not to worm out for all of the parasite's

@@BoisDArcKikos We just recently purchased a small 6.5-acre farm in Lamar County about 3 months ago. Went from urban backyard gardening to now hobby farmers. this year we concentrated on our garden and turkeys and egg-laying chickens. next year it will be goats, sheep and maybe bees. might try some meat birds and more turkeys if these sell out fast this year. year 3-4 we are going to try and do pigs.

I’ve got some property that’s been sitting dormant doing nothing for 15 years that’s about to get goats on it. I’m not going all in and spending a bunch of money just yet but I’m gonna get some lesser kikos for the time being because they’re FREE lol. I’m going thru some medical issues at the time so it’s gonna be a thing just to keep me kinda busy and a reason to get out of the house. I raise gamefowl but it don’t take me but maybe 20 mins to feed them and if I don’t wanna mess with em there’s always somebody around that’ll go out there and do it for me but the goats is gonna be my have to so I’m ready for em. I hurt bad but I need to be moving not staying still.

We rotate pastures 19-20 days to another pasture so it last that long then go to another pasture and let that one recover. We use at least 3 to 4 pastures like that.
