Gus and Gal both talking sense, and Gus frequently talks about development systems... and it looks to me that Api Koroisau has made a massive contribution to Penrith’s form this year. Api looks like the best individual recruitment of the season so far. Letting McCullough go may have made good sense at the time, but the decision unravelled very quickly through injury. What i do remember is commentators making a song and dance about how canny the Broncos recruitment was a couple of seasons ago in anticipation of the interchange being reduced - fit and mobile young forwards who can play big minutes and running halves who will find gaps as the big opponents tire late in the game. At that time commentators were saying how clever and forward thinking the Broncos/Bennett’s recruitment was. The two gaps the commentators were talking about last season was the need for an organising half to set Milford free and the need to move on Boyd and McCullough who both looked tired and uninspired. All of those roster issues were acted on as best as they could in the short term. I agree that they need a circuit breaker, but another short term “fix” is not the answer. They cannot keep hoping for Milford to lead, and they decided they didn’t want Boyd to lead - so who are the on field generals? It was Alfy in a trainer’s t-shirt barking and organising the team from behind the ruck. Who is leading the team on the park after they sacked their previous leadership group and very publicly determined to transfer or retire them as soon as they can? Maybe that hasn’t been great for team harmony and motivation. Just maybe.

Stop being surprised about their results, stop saying they're tanking, stop asking how could this be possible with the roster they have. The roster they have is junk! Milford wouldn't get a job cleaning the toilets at the Roosters, Boyd is 10 years expired and basically stealing money, Aldi Croft is the saddest excuse for a halfback I've seen in 40 years (Storm aren't stupid) and the so-called superstar forwards are unproven. Fifita selling for big bucks is nonsense. I just laugh when the so-called experts and bookies tip them for top 4 every preseason. No, it's not the Broncos of the 90s and early 2000s, before Bill Harrigan cheated and gifted them a GF in 2006.

They both are directly responsible for the toxic culture and reckless decision making at the club and have to go.

No team has been as badly affected by the trainers not being on the field. They had Alf Langer on the field in a trainer’s yellow t-shirt telling them all what to do every play of every game in 2019. Is he still there or there have they lost their on field coach that “told their forwards where to go”. Were they learning from Alfy, or just doing what he said without thinking too much about it.

The Brisbane players need to spend more time working harder in rugby league and spend less time preparing for the 2020 Special Olympics.

Boyd should be fullback. Milford should be sacked. He's a bludger.

I agree Gus. The Broncos are playing like a bunch of boys.

6 ago rule wrecked this game if you not in top 12 playing as a unit and teams are in rebuild stage have no hope in winning with grace they just get smashed , no time to see why 6 ago rule decision was made its try and keep up like touch footy , this year's NRL is a train wreck to watch
