Gli anglicani della high-church, la cosiddetta " chiesa alta" cattolicheggiante hanno semplicemente mantenuto o piuttosto ripreso i Paramenti Liturgici della Chiesa Cattolica Romana. Pregasi di imparare l'A B C della Liturgia Cattolica Romana prima di domandarsi perché un Sacerdote Ministeriale Cattolico indossa un Piviale identico o simile a quello usato dagli anglicani. Non è questo prete, non sono certo i preti cattolici ad imitare gli anglicani, ma questi ultimi che soprattutto dal XIX secolo, con lo sviluppo del Movimento Cattolicheggiante detto " di Oxford", che hanno ripigliato Riti, Paramenti e Insegne, Pontificali e non, proprie della Santa Liturgia Cattolica.
