Less than a minute in and LLB is first game I thought of when he said it's fighting game adjacent.

YES. Completely underrated game and has a wild system to it.
This game honestly gives off big Lethal League energy.
This is next on my list of purchases after loving Windjammers

I grew up playing the original all the time at a local grocery store back in the 90's along with Samurai Shodown and KOF '94. So many good memories of that one. I brought this one the other day and it's a GREAT sequel to the original. It's just as fun and has more techniques. I'm really liking it.
Here on the east coast. Especially at old 8wayRun events. Windjammers would find its way to tournaments. College tourney? Windjammers. Convention tourney? Windjammers. Tournament at the gymnasium in a church? Windjammers.

Back in the days of Stargate in Houston, we'd run side tourneys for this game. It's totally a fighting game.

I always played Windjammers at our local bowling alley like every week. Nobody has even ever heard of it but it is a place in my childhood. The same machine had metal slug and a fighting game also. It was like a six in one.
Windjammers was a stable at Drunken Fight Nights back in college.

when I first heard about windjammers I watched several tourneys from years past and was really amazed. I'm hoping to pick up 2 at some point and be able to learn everything but just to have a new version to watch is very exciting! wooo.

I played the original a lot. Got Windjammers 2 on STEAM on release date!! And yes... it's a fighting game (more or less). I hope they do a lot of Windjammers 2 tournaments as they did the original. ChaseTatsujin is a very good tournament player from Windjammers 1!

Just downloaded this on my lunch break after watching this video. Buddy and I played it for 30 mins and damn that felt like the shortest lunch break. No idea how to play, but what a hype game!!

I remember the original Wind Jammers and Baseball Stars 2 on Neo Geo weirdly attracting alot of the same crowd as the FGC in arcades back in the day......... Same with the Super Dodgeball series, actually.

lethal league blaze AND windjammers 2 is on game pass for PC, I know I sound like a shill but game pass for pc is actually hella sick and a good deal.
I like the game brought for the switch it's definitely hard but fun.
Check out Magical Drops 3. That game is BRUTAL when it comes to puzzle fighters. You can literally die in like 2 seconds.
