- Major Hurricane Beryl has maintained it's Category 4 strength and is expected to make landfall in the Leeward Islands. It represents a hazardous situation for people living in Beryl's path.
Additional strengthening is expected for the next 24 hours at least.

Beryl could intensify in the carribean just a little bit to 150 mph. there is now a low chance of category 5 winds.

Hard to believe we already have a major hurricane early into the season and it’s not August or September yet. I never expected a major hurricane to form in June tbh. Who knows how the rest of this season goes. Good luck to all those in the path of this powerful storm.

That is a high pressure for a major hurricane.
That's because Atlantic Ocean has higher pressure as compared to the Pacific or Indian Ocean

Today other weather mainstream media talked about that they're expecting to start this season the use of cat 6 for hurricanes.
Frightening.
Do you have a reference for that statement? I'd like to see who's actually said that.

Strengthening as well so should be quite the impact for the Windwards with another storm following right behind.
I suggest nobody take this season lightly; ive learned too much about the conditions during and after a hurricane in the shelters to take it lightly ever again. Even if i have to sleep in my car on the side of the road, im getting a full tank of gas and driving as far away as i can. I'm thinking of getting a mini vanlife set up in my car so im not an inconvenience to locals whereever i drive to and buying up all their drinking water, food, etc.
Me in Suriname watching this thank God it didn't come here. We have nothing to hide against something like this praying for the other countries 🙏

Caribbean islands got the worse luck because i said of my comment when beryl wasn't even a hurricane yet 2 days ago so yeah my curse literally destroy the islands of lower lesser Antilles
but on the flip side we did have a offical record for the earliest major hurricane in the month of June as 2 other majors are not in the satellite or modern satellite era yet so essentially
beryl is the 1st to get cat 3 in the month of June for the first time (or second time if 2010 alex does count that since before it used to be cat 3 but downgrade to cat 2 for a reason)

I think dominica will get it like a tropical storm, already a little thunder is rolling on dominica as I speak. Let's keep our fingers crossed for good things to come. We had Maria and it was not easy!

Beryl could have an eye replacement cycle since its eye its getting cloudier and cloudier. it could weaken just a little bit back to category 3 status then it could get back to category 4 back again
At the 5 day mark, beryl looks like it might make a northward turn, making a US impact possible.
A lot of models have it going into Texas as a weak storm

tornadoes level strongly built buildings & throw lorries & trains around. They said 130-150 mph for the tornadoes recently. This is obviously well below the actual wind speed given the type of damage done. This hurricane 130 mph & he said is capable of throwing debris from roofs etc, well below the catastrophindamage from a strong tornado!
It’s crazy to think how lucky we are that hurricanes don’t get as strong as tornadoes. The Greenfield, Iowa tornado had winds over 300 mph!
These major hurricanes often spawn tornados.
Tornadoes winds are much stronger than hurricane winds of the same speed, they spin rapidly, intensify in seconds and are also sucking in/ up like a vacuum. Hurricane winds just blow relatively straight for long distances, and gradually increase and decrease. Tornadoes aren't just regular wind.

yeah um I consider this a category 3 cuz that is literally category 2-3 pressure and cat 4 pressure is like 920-950
