Matt, you have become quite the globe trotting airgunner; South Africa, Sweden, Arizona, and now Chile's Patagonia. Excellent video composition and quality, great shooting under difficult conditions, and a new friend and fellow hunter. You and Claudio make a great team. Maybe you can host him hunting in SA? I can't wait for more! Jess
With my curiosity roused, I investigated Sweden's air gun laws on Wikipedia and found, "In Sweden, airguns are regarded as firearms, and generally require a licence. Limited energy weapons, such as airguns and paintball guns and are however licence free, but may not be used by a minor under 18 years of age, unless licensed or under adult supervision. Limited energy weapons may not have a muzzle energy exceeding 10 J (7.4 ft lbs) measured four metres from the muzzle. Fully automatic limited energy weapons may not exceed 3 J." No wonder FX sells their air guns all over the world with such a restrictive market at home. Jess
And this is why I will never buy another gun built around pellet.. You are right Matt, NSA and a barrel made for it is the way to go. I shoot alot of prairie dogs and if you get within 100yds it is a good day, generally 120-180 but there better be little wind if you are shooting lead shuttlecocks :) My Raw .30 is amazing accurate but NO pellet is accurate in the wind. Yes I know you can calculate wind drift but not with gusts.
Your videos keep getting better and better! I really sure hope you keep this up a long time. I enjoy your channel very much. Informative and superb locations. Especially Patagonia!
Thanks for a great series only just found your channel as I’m just getting into air guns after a long time. Also like your presenting style and camera work
Love it. Jealous. What a great opportunity. (I don't think you're lucky by the way, you've certainly earned your rewards). Very interested to know more about he slugs you're mentioning and the platform(s) they may shoot best in. More to come on that info Matt?
I watched all 5 parts and I enjoyed the beaver hunts I'm from the US and we have lots and I have trapped them too, it's to bad you didn't try the meat because it's great it's a dark red meat, I was also wondering how those pellets shot that he made for you thanks keep it up
The accuracy might be due to the pellet type. H and n doesnt really work well with fx guns. Also fx guns, primarily the impact have had many commoners report on accuracy issues. My impact was like a shotgun at 25 yards. Its pretty much a lottery whether normal people get a good one or not. I returned it and bought a used one with reported much better accuracy. However accuracy was not as good as my wildcat no matter how much tuning i did.
Can you make a video step by step on how to load your air supply. And what equipment is needed. I will love to buy a rifle like the one u use. Thank you very much. Your videos are OWSOM
Matt, can Claudio Flores the guide you had in Chile send any of those berry seeds to America? I have import permits. how can we contact him direct? I can find live plants but not seeds. figured you might know. AKA that FX really rocks for a air rifle. clean, humane and quiet.
Hi Matt! What do you think about using hevay bullets like jsb 5.5 redesigned for hunting? It could be more comfortable shooting with windy wheather, isn't it?
which design of slugs did you use Matt? I ordered some Wedged on the bottom and my gun FX Wildcat MKII hated them, over one inch group at 25yds. I love the design but so far my experience with them is not good!!
Wow...cool.... Love to watch all your videos n sit getting jealous 😂. I would very much appreciate if you could suggest me a good pcp in .177 cal plus a reliable scope.
hi Matt, great video, I'm a beginner and just starting off with air gun hunting. what rifle would you recommend that is affordable Adnan easy to use for someone like me. Thanks Muhammad.
Muhammad Akoodie , sorry mate I'm a big German springer fan , I've also got a bsa R10 in 177 , so easy to shoot (can't really miss with it) just aim and pull the trigger, my mates got one too and a hw100 as well , he reckons there's hardly any difference between the two , both about the same price £750/£800 , if your after something a bit cheaper the brocock compato @ about £600 is supposed to be very good as well mate !
scott kelly. thanks for the info, I've got a Mccoy 360 in .117 and it's very accurate but I don't like to have to reload every shot because I do a lot of pigeon hunting, any good quality scopes?
Hilarious! My child loves colored snacks... I'm not used to seeing anyone else with the food dyed mouth. Really enjoy your content and lessons. But that berry juice... LOL! No offense intended buddy.
As a total uneducated in hunting, can you please explain where is the best humane kill shot. Are you aiming for the head/ brain or heart. Just trying to educate myself better. Also, is this the same principal for all game. Also would the impact be suitable for fox shooting ? Thanks in advance.
Elfin4 Matt is going for brain shots. The animal will feel nothing. The heart / lung area is a bigger target but there is more chance of death taking longer.

That is the plan! Glad you enjoyed the video😄
Did you ever hunt with airguns in Sweden?
Good question for Matt. What about airgun hunting in Sweden? Any plans? Jess
Throwback you need a weapon with 110 foot ponds muzzle energy in Sweden, so I think that would be hard to do

Love the shots from Puerto Natales in the beginning. We were down there just a few days ago and shot the same boats and cormorant pier.
Great series. Really like the reticle on the scope, holdover only limited by scope diameter. Well done.

Hi matt what scope & specs did you use in this video while using your ipact .30? Thanks
Great video!
I have to ask, are the long barrels available for purchase in North America. I would consider purchasing an Impact if the long barrel is an option.

You heard correctly. Patagonia is made up of both Argentina and Chile, just like Scandinavia is made up of a number of different countries.
