    I'm already pretty skeptical of giant units (i've played and won multiple games without using a single one) since they cost a lot and they die pretty fast if the opponent has the right tools and the war factory feels like it ramps all those problems to 11.
    It's an extremely high investment and the return is extremely mixed since most of the battles are decided in less than 20 seconds.

    With cost control or rapid supply you can do it turn 2 if you debt, its an even more terrible idea but doable.

    The issue is, yes, the war factory may produce a full unit of steel balls every round, but at that point you could just buy a unit of them every round and have more balls in general, plus you wouldn't have to pay the war factory tech cost.

      It produces a steel ball every 5 sec's. The last round lasted 70 seconds, that's 14 units. In addition to its firepower, In addition to the crawlers. It's a ton of power. That's 800 worth of units, give or take, plus The upgrades from the units, so add another 400. Even if it has upkeep, it is providing every round well above its upkeep cost. Not many games last above 4 rounds with a war factory out.
      Let's say he added tanks. That's 17 tanks in addition to the balls. Add Phoenix's that's another 7 units. For that last round, it could be a total of 38 individual units in a 70-second round. It's worth upgrading and using the factory upgrades. Every new unit produced is also doing damage if it survives. Leaving a potential for 2900 damage if say all those units survived in a 70 sec battle. Let's say it lasted the whole game. That's 6 full groups of steel balls, phoenixes and tanks, a single unit could provide 4,400 worth of theoretical damage.
      There is an argument to getting one. I would say it's a round 5 investment, though.

    absolutely glorious, a terrible and wonderful strat at the same time. i'm greedy, i would have taken that intensive training sold a pheonix and placed the factory and level it up each round. not saying it would of been the better play, but it would of been funny

    your maths are wrong, 4 steal balls cost 200 hundred for as much rounds as you want. so the war factory would have to produce for as much as it cost in one, two, three rounds etc. Turn one the factory should provide at least 4 steal balls, turn two it should provide at least 8 etc.

    Ignite (chance to do 6% hitpoint damage) is also nasty against the factory.
    I kinda feel the factory is in a bit of a weird place, on one hand it starts with triple the health of a fortress and has much better capability of damage output (4 turrets covering the corners). Yet on the other hand the inflated single HP pool makes it incredibly vulnerable to most special effects, acid and ignite quickly kill it whilst emp nullifies a large portion of the reason you'd build one in the first place.
    Then the 200 material upkeep which makes it a questionable unit to run for multiple turns. Ideally you'd get a factory + one of the production upgrades and have it produce 500 (200 upkeep + 300 upgrade) worth of units on it first turn. For its second turn you'd need to produce at least 400 (2* 200 upkeep) worth of units to be a better deal than buying the units outright and getting another 2 giant units.
    What I do find interesting though is that you produce units at the level of the factory, without slowing down for higher level units... All in all I think it's surprisingly balanced amidst its strengths and weaknesses.

    Combine with -1 reset round and one Level up each round, +phoenix, anti missile and range. I got lvl 9 at wave10

    I would have liked to see you buy intensive training on turn 3 instead of that missile. Get the war factory leveled ASAP. So its even tougher and spitting out higher level balls as soon as you can.

      While I do dislike how often he buys missiles with spare cash he couldn’t afford intensive training that round. He skipped so he had an extra 50 supply but if he went IT it would cost 50, difference of 100 supply not 50

    Acid crawlers is a cheap counter to war factory. did it in testing and with factory versus single group of acid crawler the factory will die and two units of acid crawlers will kill factory faster then two melters

    I feel like the cost of all cards including FREE cards should be bumped up 50 credits, while the 50 credits you get for skipping should be added to your income.
    Because technically, FREE cards aren't free since they cost you 50 you would've gooten if you skipped, and other cards cost you 50 more than they say, compared to not taking them.
    The +50 for skipping is just confusing. It would maybe make sense if you could take multiple cards each round, but otherwise it's a hidden extra cost of every card.

    I enjoy the facotroy. With the Phoenix that has the come back and sheild perks haha clutched a win or tow becausd all of them came back after everything was dead

      Oh yea, means it's really horrible to buy early unless you win within 2 rounds 😅 Pretty sure this meme strat will be impossible to pull off in a week when folks start teching their Crawlers with acid
