NOTE: People apparently assume the main protagonist is "kinkshaming" those baby yakuza guys, that is just a video edit done by me. In the actual game the yakuza boss forces his gangmembers, including Kiryu who happens to pass by, into playing as a toddler. Kiryu refuses and then has to fight them all.

@@พรี่คาซึยะ I love this game, I'll be doing Kawami next, but all the Yakuza games have some very bizarre and sometimes crazy substories in them lol. and funny thing is, there actually more entertaining than the side stuff you find in GTA sometimes. and some substories actually tie into the main story. also the girls that you build friendships with, a few of them like Miho from Yakuza 0 is actually a real life model. most of the girls you come across in GTA are just creations. I found it to be refreshing, cause often times female characters in GTA don't look real, but most of the girls in Yakuza 0 and Kawami look like people.

the best part about this is that in the cutscene, kiryu doesn't even kinkshame the guys, he just says "sorry, this isn't really my thing" and the guys just decide to beat the shit out of him.

This level of shennanigans is 90% of the game. The actual serious crime drama is 10%.
And the best thing is it is all fantastic. Such a wonderful blend. Yakuza franchise is truly a gift. Glad it is finally getting more recognition! Used to be super underrated & under the radar.

The context in this video is that a mob boss offers kiryu some free time in his nightclub for sparing his goons. Kiryu finds that the club caters the bosses Bizarre paraphilic Infantalism fetish (the one with the pacifier). Kiryu refuses to participate so the mobsters fight him. This is part of a subquest you can look up called “be my baby” and adds to the wonders of the yakuza games.

@@kikithepupper6774 No, Kiryu refuses by himself and then the boss gets all self conscious and tries to fight him. The video didn't show that part because this way it's funnier, but in the actual game, Kiryu is defending himself here.

Some advice: starting with 0 or Kiwami is recommended. Kiwami is the 2017 ground up remake of the first Yakuza from 2005, and is basically the game but more and a lot better. 0 is a prequel from 2015 that shares an engine with Kiwami. And this is Kiwami 2, same thing as Kiwami, but with the engine of Yakuza 6. Also 0 is a bit less dramatic in main story than Kiwami. They're all amazing, though.
