Introducing Soul Eras, an electrifying eight-piece ensemble that embodies the essence of soul music across the decades. Led by vocalists Mariam and Gershom, the band features Richard on keys, Alistair on guitar, Ato on bass, Rowan on drums, Sophie on sax, and Josh on trumpet. Their dynamic repertoire spans the 60s to today, delivering energetic performances of classics like "Higher and Higher" and "Signed, Sealed, Delivered," as well as soulful renditions of contemporary hits like "Cosmic Girl" and "I Need A Dollar." For more intimate settings, Soul Eras offers acoustic sets, blending warmth and romance into any occasion.
Mariam, with a master’s degree in Commercial Songwriting and Production from Nottingham Trent University, brings a wealth of experience from performing with global icons at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Hollywood Bowl, and the O2 Arenas. Her collaborations with artists like Gladys Knight, Paloma Faith, and Beverley Knight enhance her rich artistry. Gershom, whose musical journey began in church, has performed at prestigious venues like The Hollywood Bowl, Buckingham Palace, and the Royal Palace of Monaco. His career highlights include sharing the stage with legends like Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston, and George Michael. Notably, he performed with The Kingdom Choir at the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Soul Eras offers a customizable experience for your event. For standard performances of 2x60 or 3x40 minutes, you can select up to 10 songs from their extensive repertoire, with the band accommodating requests given a month’s notice. They also welcome last-minute suggestions and are happy to learn a special song for your event, such as a first dance. Upon booking, a dedicated band manager ensures seamless communication and planning, guaranteeing a smooth and stress-free experience on the big day.
The band provides a full PA and lighting rig, along with complimentary playlist music before, between, and after live sets until curfew. They can also accommodate early arrivals, late stays, and provide DJ services if needed.
