      You are awesome! And just because your orientation is not represented in the mainstream media doen't mean it doesn't exist! It's not fair that mainstream media represents straight men and women, or on occasion a gay guy or a lesbian girl. Please please please don't get your reference from sitcoms
      You can enjoy certain shows, but they do not represent you
      You are a pansexual person and that is awesome, you get to love people for who the are and not for what they are. It's incredible!
      Pan people are not represented in the media, but please don't ever let that put you down
      You are one of few people who can love everyone, regardless of sex or gender. And that's pretty neat!
      It's one of the best features humans can have and most of us can't even appreciate it because we are jealous

      Weird, I relate to a lot of people and sexual orientation has literally nothing to do with it. I look at everyone as individuals and I judge everyone based on how they project their energy across their wake. There are a lot of people I can’t stand either and once again, it is the attitude and the way they project themselves and how they influence the overall happiness around for one.

    When I saw the title of the video I almost cried, and when I finished watching it I felt very good, very relieved to see other people's experiences. Likewise in my case my father has no idea, and he is the main reason that for many years I stayed in a limbo of not understanding myself, feeling things that confused me and made me feel "abnormal", but with time was moving away from him, and finally I was able to be myself. The first person I told was my best friend, and he gave me a gift that I never expected, because he treated me normally, making me feel that I was not a freak, that I was NORMAL, and that he accepted me as which was. Thanks to him I started to stop hiding and more to be myself, today if I want to laugh, I laugh, if I want to cry, I cry, if I want to scream, I scream, if I want to run, well, I can't because I'm also handicapped, but yes I could do it, and I'm very happy about it. Thanks to all of you who are after this channel, with a lot of junk content that abounds in this platform, I am happy to see something so special, and necessary, like this.

    My story is a very interesting one, when I first came out I came out as Pan and later corrected it to Demi Sexual but because I was so effeminate I had a lot of people just telling me to be gay and so I started calling myself gay. Also dating women scared me because I didn’t want to play the role of a “man” to satisfy my partner. That’s when we fast forward to today where I am Agender Trans Femme who is Andro-Demi sexual. And like these guys I agree that I really don’t need the labels for myself it just paints a picture for other.

    Seeing this made me so happy. I really don't see much talk about pansexuality or representation in larger media. I've been out as a pansexual since like middle school. Only thing that would make it any better is if you did another Pansexuals video with at least 1 pansexual female, mostly out of curiosity on if the female pansexual and the male pansexual have similar answers to each question. This is so relatable, It's good to know to see a video where pansexual people are gathered. I consider myself pansexual and in my country, it's still too vague. Every time people ask me about my sexuality, I just tell them I am gay because I feel like it's easier to understand compared to pansexual. I came out recently through a vlog. Coming out online is harder than I thought.

    I came out by casually telling it to my family over dinner. We're from an Asian country but our household was never strict or hostile in gender, political views, religion, etc. My parents are just happy and content I'm not off to prison or doing hard drugs. When I got into college, I realized how lucky I was to have my kind of family as almost everyone I knew, his having trouble coming out. Still, whether it was greeted by warmth or indifference, it's nice to come out. I feel like I understand myself more.

    The shit about being a pansexual cis person is that sometimes, even after coming out as not straight, we still have the fear stigma from other member of the queer community in addition to straight people paranoia. I'm a pan, cis, non binary in my gut but my appearance is closer to a masculine stereotype (I'm Brazilian so my pronouns are ele/ela/ O SER (my favorite) . So straight women think I won't enjoy sex with them or that I won't be good in bed, some gay guys have told me the same and that I'm only saying I'm pan for attention, Lesbians outright despise me and a trans person thought I was just flirting with them for a kink, fetish, or that I had lost a bet. When you're openly pan, people think you're either begging for attention or a filthy, promiscuous person they wouldn't wanna be with. I've decided to just pretend to be whatever the person I wanna bang is looking for, whatever...

      Sadly, I read the comments here and there was lot of hate. I'm disappointed. I'm abrosexual, which means my sexuality is fluid, but I've identified as pansexual. A lot of people accuse pansexual people of being biphobic, which is ridiculous. I'm also genderfluid and non-binary, so I wouldn't feel comfortable identifying as bisexual. I know many bi people who include nbs in their spectrum of attraction or even identify as such, but, at the end of the day, it's about each person's comfort and we should all respect that. If you go through this awful comment section, you'll see a lot of biphobic comments, accusations of biphobia, and slutshaming based on orientation. So I think that answers your question. I'd wish LGBTQ* people just stopped hating on each other.

    "I'd rather we not label ourselves", as nice as that sounds in theory I think labels can be useful, as long as we don't place judgements on those labels that we use to help define who we are (whether we're defining sexuality or other aspects of life).

    • @istaneverything...
      @istaneverything... 3 года назад +1

      Basically, if a person is "bisexual" then that person is: "attracted to more than one gender" whereas a pansexual is "attracted to all genders(with no regard to gender)". The difference is a bisexual can be attracted to women and trans-gendered folk but no men or any combination, like being attracted to non-binary pple and men but not attracted to women. Get it? Bisexuality blankets being attracted to more than one but not all. (An omnisexual and pansexual are the same with one crucial difference...)

  • @gabbsiscool
    @gabbsiscool 3 года назад +2

    I first came out as Bisexual when I was 16 then re-came out as Pansexual when I was 21. I always knew I was attracted to both men and women but when I got to college I learned more about gender and how many there are, so Pansexual was more fitting to me the more I learned. I came out to my very catholic grandma at Thanksgiving back in 2018. To my knowledge I'm the only person in my whole family who's LGBTQIA+ and I was nervous as to what she'd say. But she said she loved me even more and we cried together and hugged and I was so relieved

    What does pansexual mean?

    • @DR-yy1tx
      @DR-yy1tx 3 года назад

      It has a variety of definitions but the most common one is "attraction regardless of gender". Some people say it's the same as being bi, and some bi people actually use that very same definition, so it can be hard to differentiate between the two.
      Generally, pan people like to call themselves "blind to gender", which is something that they feel has not properly been defined by bisexuality.

    Maybe it's just me but I have a problem with people having this overwhelming need to label themselves, like a label is going to help you understand yourself better. To me labels narrow who you are or can be. I'm human and that should be enough. Everything else is just a way to try to find who you "belong" with. If that makes sense.

    • @dpcisunbreakable
      @dpcisunbreakable 3 года назад +2

      You must not have had to struggle with your sexual orientation ever in life, and that leaves me to assume that you don't know have a clue what these guys struggled with. Maybe you should actually talk to them instead of judging them about being labeled. And maybe you should educate yourself on the difference nuances of sexuality. Clearly you have no understanding of what being more than human means to them.

    • @silverghostcat1924
      @silverghostcat1924 3 года назад +1

      @@dpcisunbreakable you completely misunderstood what I meant. I'm not judging these guys. I think they're fine exactly the way they are. I was talking about people in general. Though even in the LGBTQ community there's discrimination based on labels. You're "XYZ" so you can't be " whatever, fill in the blank". These guy themselves said that the labels were more for other people than for themselves. I'm just saying that people get hung up on labels without even getting to know a person first. If we could start with the premise that we're human first and foremost then go from there, realizing that most of us just want to be loved and accepted for who we are rather than the label someone wants to put on us or force us to wear for their comfort.
