I'm sure almost everyone who's heard of this song has tried dancing to it. But only a few handfuls manage to look good while covering the song, and even then, no one manages to look as good Taemin.
Pentagon’s Kino & YeoOne did a cover (dance & vocal to Taemin’s move) in their online concert last month that was amazing. You might find a video here on RUclips from a fan.

I think that he said it's not as tiring as his other choreos, so it's easy to sing while doing it.
the choreo is easy the execution is super difficult
The actual movement is "easy" in the way that its less physically taxing but the execution of it, the stylization of it all is the hard part. Taemin is just naturally so good that he doesn't have to try that hard to make it look good unlike us peasants :(
I did a cover with my dance group and it was hard. It's not the moves themselves it's the timing. If you're even a little off It's so noticeable. Plus the moves sometimes have little details that are easy to miss when trying to keep your timing right. 🥲
It's easy in the sense that he's not running around the stage unlike in Everybody and his newest songs Criminal and Idea. I think he finds the more sensual dances easier than the really physically demanding and fast dances like Everybody and Criminal because sensual dancing and popping are very similar in the fact that you have to be able to isolate different parts of your body and be able to hit the beat spot on and that's how he auditioned for SM was with popping. (sorry for the run on sentence)

In before Taemin trolled us all. However, when it comes to hard choreo, Shinee is one of those groups I definitely expect it from. Can't wait though, it will be my first comeback with them as a baby Shawol but even so I know how hard they worked over the years and the choreos they had, it would be hard not to notice just by looking at Taemin alone.
Honestly, I do from most SM artists, NCT was flexing since day one. I don't know how many of their choreo are even easy. Didn't Dream literally debut on hoverboards?

3:12 every rookie or trainee is actually scared of getting The 7th sense to perform (on survival shows) because it is a pretty complicated choreo and for a debut song/performance. . . must be tough

Nct Dream’s song was so cheerful and cute and everything but the choreography was always soooooo difficult. Highly recommend checking out more nct dream dance practices!! Especially the practice for award shows!!!!
My favorite is the 29th Seoul music award....the jisung solo shocked me so hard in the beginning so I decided to stan nct lol

@@qwertyasdfg013 Yup, people underestimated TXT Crown for the same reason but the choreo is hard af; so much heavy movement and precise synchronisation is required. And perhaps Into the New World as well? Like it's not exactly a cute concept but it's close enough, and it was a gg chreo as well so I think a lot of people would have underestimated or dismissed it at the time it came out. Would have to talk to an older fan to find out for sure though
Fun fact: SHINee Lucifer dance practice was the first dance practice video. Others then followed suit (much to our delight). Move is SO HARD. I've never seen anyone else who's tried it (and there have been plenty) be able to manage the strength/sharpness coupled with relaxation that Taemin gets in his body. MJ is proud! Also, I just adore the addition of your kitty in the background. He/she adds texture and mystery to your video. :) Thanks for the content.

SEVENTEEN don't have so much 'dark' concept during their early debut and they are more to 'flower boy' concept. However, their dancing skill and choreo is still on point for both concept because they are so versatile and can pull off any kind of concept.
p/s : Sometimes people just assume that 'dark' concept have difficult choreo but it actually depends on how you perform it.
The 7th Sense's concept isn't cute, sexy, or dark. It's got more of a raw, dreamy vibe. Whenever I listen to it, I get lost. I feel like I'm in a trance. And when I watch the choreography along with it, I...I don't even know what to say. There's something so dreamlike about it. I just get so lost. It hypnotises me
For me, SHINee is the pioneer of Kpop group for having hard choreo + experimental song + fashion style (combined). This concept is now upgraded into NCT. The concept of NCT a bit complicated because it kinda mix from:
SUJU (in term of sub unit, China unit, adding more member in the group but NCT is limitless)
SHINee (hard choreo + experimental song + fashion style but NCT added technology too, for example NCT Dream who debuted using hoverboard in their choreo)
EXO (amazing worldview concept, superpower. At first, they were divided into two units of group, EXO-K for Korea promotion and EXO-M for China promotion. Now, NCT has worldview concept i.e. dream and reality concept, technology concept, and localization concept such as NCT 127 for Korea promotion and WayV for China promotion. But, they are still flexible like NCT 127 can do U.S and Japan promotion and WayV also can be promoted in Korea and there was also big project like NCT 2020)
In conclusion, SM always make a pioneer. They use their previous works as an inspiration and give the innovation in it to create a new fresh concept.
NCT SHINEE AND SEVENTEEN for me are the best dancers and choreographys in Kpop

M thinking about what Taemin said.. SHINee’s New Choreo for their 2021 comeback is harder than Criminal & Everybody. Taemin considers Criminal his hardest dance, and SHINee considers Everybody their hardest in a sense that it needs all five of them to execute it well. 🤯

It explains why I stan mostly SM groups. I was actually surprised there were no EXO ones, since I doubt theirs are 'easy'. Maybe in part 2? Regardless, you know you have taste when you stan at least one SM group or soloist.
@@glaciemdraco OMG PERIOOOOODT sis! The only reason other companies are able to compete is because they have one or two powerhouse groups. But literally SM artists are in their own league. And yes, exo should be in part two. Although compared to NCT I would say their dances are slightly more complex. Like Chain or Firetruck 😬

Or at least not so easily with the emotion and such. Curious to see if they will be in that part 2. But yeah, SM artists are something else (also, thank you for not assuming I'm a guy because of my icon or something, that's the norm to the point where I don't even correct people anymore lol)

SM is miles ahead in their game.Vocal,visual,dance,concept and even in virtual,ETC. cos i cant even name all. SM-trendsetter is pretty much overused when we talk about SM and it's entirety. Seventeen's choreos are actually really difficult to do. I am now dancing for 5 years already but Seventeen's choreos drain my energy so much. They make it look so easy and natural but its actually really difficult to execute with fast beats. Not to mention how often they change positions because theres many members who exchange centers in every line in the song.
TBH some of these aren't really that hard. Its just that its playing with the eyes u know. The actual hardest dances are the ones who contain so much detail.
Seventeen's choreos are like a zumba but its 100+ more difficult🙃

I most certainly agree on this one.... and besides that I would say SVT choreos has always been difficult if not intricate... imagine having to dance in sync with 13 people and still slays, the talent... SVT has one of the most complicated choreos in Kpop period...

Tutting is already hard to do well alone, but to do it with more persons in sync and perform tutting & choreo combo's is almost supernatural.

Amusing how Taemin said (nonverbatim) he likes performing Move coz it’s an easy dance, and he doesn’t get tired after performing, like he doesn’t sweat and all. Also NCT & SVT, their choreos are so satisfying to watch, they make it look easy too.
when other idols cover Move it doesnt feel the same you know Taemin makes you feel smooth and smt like snake movements and other male idols are so used to dance energetic and over dance so it makes it hard for them to cover the songs and give the same feelings
I remember seeing the lucifer dance practice for the first time in 2010 and being COMPLETELY blown away. just floored. it was so huge to see a group dancing to that kind of choreo, especially with the way they were all so coordinated and precise. ive been a fan of shinee and taemin especially ever since... still my favorite video of all time.
I feel like most A.C.E choreos are hard or at least look hard. People aren't kidding when they say they see five main dancers, it's wild. But yes, even as a non-dancer, all of these look difficult because of all the aspects you need to do well so it doesn't look awkward.

Taemin is simply the best. He dances with so much emotion and he executes every move so gracefully, fluidly and elegantly (making it look so effortlessly). He doesn't just make his dances masterpieces but he becomes a masterpiece himself once he dance. Truly awesome 👍
SM artists in general are groups I expect hard and amazing to watch choreos from. I'm sure aespa will grow into such a group too (I'm like among the few not impressed by their debut, it's okay, but it's no Replay or 7th Sense or anything like that)

Taemin is the best dancer ever without exception. Better than Michael Jackson, Gene Kelly, all of them. He debuted when he was 14. He has been doing it his whole life, and has the most fluid and unique dance movements of anyone we have ever seen. He can do all the quick typical moves that male KPop bands do as seen in his latest video "Idea", but few can do the smooth fluid rhythmic dances like Taemin
Definitely check out Ten's(WayV and NCT) Dream in a Dream and Devils dance practices. They are amazing!
Taemin is the only Artist who can perfectly hit the choreography of "Move".
I’d love for you to revisit some older stuff! I know it’s not the same as a reaction, but it’s cool to dissect stuff and just talk about it. Plus I feel like it kinda keeps them alive in a way and I think that’s super important given that this is an* industry that’s a constant revolving door moving at 50 mph lol. Always something new and shiny to look at, but it’s nice to look back sometimes too ☺️

I’d like to mention that I am a dancer and choreographer before saying this.
But The 7th Sense is the hardest dance I’ve done ever. I had to make slight changes(unnoticeable if you don’t pay super close attention.) I am also specifically doing Taeyongs intro sequence which is the hardest of the 5. I agree with those Produce X trainees for sure. if your trying this out with little experience In dancing, placements, isolations, and basic coordination, you will have a hard time just getting through the intro
Tbh the rest is pretty easy.(COMPARED TO THE REST!!!!!!)
Dancers advice corner(if you want easy mode go with Tens intro sequence. Mainly because he doesn’t change levels/elevation. And it’s easy to transition to the 1st verse part.) Also you might get tired after a few runs., And i still do. I also am still perfecting the intro after a whole month so be prepared to do this. You gotta be really determined and set on it.

A great example of how difficult is taemin move is watching the members of 2d1n season 4 dancing this, really the only one who looked decent doing that choreo was Ravi who has years of experience.

Pls watch a few of the choreos that u think are difficult to pull off while commentating abt it! I love listening abt all those dance stuff!

If we are talking about hardest choreo...Seventeen would definitely be there. They have the a super hard choreo which they choreograph there own. They are super *SYNCHRONIZED* even with the 13 members!!!
A.C.E are powerhouses in terms of dancing and vocals. All the members are great vocalists and dancers, which is very rare in a boy group.

From a dancer, I also agree these are all on my top hardest dances to do for covers! Specifically The 7th Sense is impossible for me, especially cause I was an idiot and chose to follow Taeyong. Move is also incredibly hard. You need to have a serious amount of control when preforming it. When I tried teaching it to my friends... let’s just say it didn’t go as planned😄

Conclusion is that NCT, ATEEZ and Taemin(as well as everyone else mentioned but mainly these SM and KQ children)are extremely, and I mean EXTREMELY talented when it comes to dance and choreography(singing and rap to but SM and KQ artists are on a whole different level in dance)
I watched this for shinee when you first uploaded it just after I got into kpop.
Shinee got me into kpop and were my first ult group, then NCT became my ult group for a couple of months, and now I'm here again with Ateez and A.C.E as my ult groups.
All groups that I've ulted at some point has appeared in this video.

When shinee was trainung ti debut, theur trainer said that anyone can lesrn chireo, but they as artist have to own it. Shinee trauner singing and stamina by running for hours and singing. So thats why thry sound live so good, like 2nd set of lungs

You should really react to Speed "What U" Dance Practice - they do the whole choreo wearing and using Heelys (the shoe/skate hybrid). It's INSANE!!! Talk about a hard choreo!

So I've been deep in the BTS wormhole for the past couple months and honestly I a little ashamed to say that I would often skip past other groups in videos like this just to see if BTS was in the video and only watch those parts. I danced competitively for years and I think that got me hooked on the start of this video to watch the whole thing through and it's like a switch went on in my brain and I now suddenly want to know more about all these different groups.
