Nonsense. This is a below average song from Bush. Its basically a joke when compared to their previous real gems like Sound Of Winter, Blood River, Everything Zen, Machinehead, Little Things and Glygerine
@@ashkurt8698 The only nonsense here is that you looked for my comment to give your below average & unasked-for opinion. I wasn’t comparing this to their other songs; simply appreciating it. If you don’t appreciate it, what’s your point in being here? Just move on.
@@elaineb6461 do you always talk nonsense when you get triggered so easily? The song is still utter shit in every sense of the word and my comment and opinion is as valid as any other comments on social media
@@ashkurt8698 I’m a Bush fan from since Sixteen Stone. I never stopped listening to Bush and am familiar with the entire discography. The guy is right. This song is killer and it’s great to hear some heavier tunes from Bush these days. Sure, it’s not Sixteen or Razorblade but this song rocks. I’ve listened to it like six times today lol.
@@mr.serious2618 it's not a guy but a gal to whom this comment thread relates to. And most of the lady fans of Bush are not so much of a fan of their music but of the egoistical Gavin Rosedale. I'm the same as you, been a loyal Bush fan since 1997 when I heard Sixteen Stone for the 1st time. That was a brilliant debut album and it's still the best album by Bush since to this day. What made Bush such a distinctive band in the first 10yrs was the original line up. The original lead guitarist, Nigel, bassist Dave and drummer Robin were extremely talented individuals who collectively created the unique Bush post grunge sound. However ever since they were sacked by the greedy egoistical Gavin, the original Bush sound was gone for good. In its place, is a different sound altogether, all of it very much Gavin's creation and the rest of the new clowns he has as his sidekicks are nowhere nearly as talented as the original band members. The current clowns are all Gavin's yes men and have no real say in the musical creation of the new albums since 2012. This latest album is utter horseshit in my honest opinion and I have listened to it 4 times already. There is absolutely no proper melodies, rythm or proper string arrangement on any of the new songs. It's all a messy convulsion of distorted noise and downright annoying songs. It's probably the worst album Bush has ever released. It's a shame cause the last album, The Kingdom was a pretty good album more in tune with Sixteen Stone. But this one, is so far from the last album on every level. It's like they just can't be bothered to make good music anymore after the success of The Kingdom. If that's indeed the case, then they should just stop making albums altogether.
you didn't really see Bush a few weeks ago.. you saw a Bush tribute band with just one original member who screwed one of the founder members out of money and then fired him. If Robin win his case Gavin wont be allowed to use the name Bush for his solo projects.
I cannot wait for a NEW Bush record!!! The Kingdom has definitely grown on me over the past two years and I think it's really good! The Art Of Survival seems to be even better already!
This is......EPIC Lyrically perfection Driving bass throughout Grunge guitar Beautiful video with a tattoo worthy font Absolutely sure this album is gonna be in their top 3 best ever! On repeat till I die
Awesome, was so happy with their "Helmet" influenced turn to a more hardcore grunge sound on Kingdom, hoping Survival will continue the sound. This song gives me much hope it will.
Really loving this new stuff! Brings me back to being that giddy little 13yr old! I'm REALLY HOPING YOU GUYS REALLY GOT TO SEE THE BUSH BIBLE I DID IN 1997! You guys have the original copy! It "Burned" in the house fire in 2000...

The meandering plain guitar in the verse after a heavy intro. Very nice. This fuckery could be is very evocative of relationship woes. The ocean acting as a metaphor, very heavy, and deep in a way. But what is it meant to signify? Is it a place to be stuck in vs the stars in the sky? The babe suggests some kind of intimacy. As though this song is sung to a singular person. Are you and them together the ocean, meant to avoid the fantasy of other lives and other loves? But then the bridge comes, almost as an antithesis. We love the stars but are stuck in the heavy waters? I know white is a recurring theme in your music. Beautiful in white. I really like how you pronounce the give it all very quickly. Almost makes you make a double take. Still, at the end of the day, the instrumental of the chorus really carries the feeling of this song. I like.
Back to the big albums. After a break from serious creation between 2005 and 2020. The last two are the Bush we know. I'm glad you found your inspiration and yourself again. You should have broken up earlier 😉
I'm 42 and been jammin to Bush since middle school. I feel blessed to be alive jammin to them today. 🙏✌️🤟🤙
I'm 38 and feel the same way! One of the absolute best of their era and still just as unique and potent as their first album.
Same, im 37 this is amazing they put out an album

This song is amazing. Mix of older and new bush, perfectly blended
Like a nice scotch
Perfect balance and I LOVE the laid back feel of this song. It's as laid back as a rock song can be. LOVE this vibe.
It's 2023 and Bush is better than ever! Thanks for all the years of great music!
Traynor is on fire . solid solo .great tone.
I've been completely obsessed. The kind of song that scratches your soul just right, lyrically and sonically.
