But really in these days all of the songs that we have are a style called "funk" and it's basically a bunch of asses shaking on the screen and a bunch of heavy words in the lyrics. But I am glad you appreciate the chill side of brazillian music :)
I'm fascinated by Bossa Nova, it's sad that everyone moved on from it, but Disco went the same route here in the states. Ultimately people get tired of hearing the same thing, grow older, genres evolve, times change- and thus, this cycle gives birth to various new kinds of music.

@@voyan38 bossa nova was kind of "a samba for white and upper middle class people". It has great compositors, and basically the best of it is on the lyrics, but with time just felt more and more out of place, in a country that is too hot to play slow paced songs. Some time after, Tropicalia came with great musicians and songs. Today most of it singers still active, but as said, the popular music - as in any country in the world - are cheap genres as sertanejo (our pop-country) and funk (that has nothing to do with 70s funk). But funk is okay. I like the asses.
Yes. Everyone bow to K.K. Disco. I've had it on in the main room of my house since I got it back in May or something, it somehow sounds wistful for the past yet hopeful for the future. It really is something else.

My favourite song is "Love Song" because when my S.O came over to my island so that we could hv a small K.K concert tgt, I asked K.K to play a song that fits the mood and he played this song. So now whenever i hear that song i think of my S.O, which makes me happy.

K.K. House, Bossa and Disco are my favorite K.K Slider songs, so I can say with certainty you have great taste in music.
This was weird because I either completely disagreed or completely agreed. No in between. But the one I agree on most is definitely Animal City. It was such a shock to hear it in New Leaf and I’m glad it’s in New Horizons.

Not going to fight your opinion but I feel like Stale Cupcakes should have had a higher spot on the list. It's definetly my absolute #1 out of all the songs, has been since I first heard it. It has kind of a special place in my heart, so maybe I'm just biased. I just love it so much. At least it's in the upper half (I think, I'm not good at math)

My personal favorite is K.K. Moody, but I have EXTREMELY FOND MEMORIES FOR DIscO. I remember as a kid I got the music box version of K.K. Disco in Happy Home Designer, and god does it turn the song on it's head. The music box version of the track made me cry, and still makes me cry. It feels like that doubt in the back of your mind of "what if everything isnt alright?" And the Guilt you have from being so happy when someone else in the world is having the worst day of their life. It feels like 4am after the party. You're still awake while everyone has gone home. Drinking no less, because you tried so hard to keep your depression hidden away from everyone so they didn't need to worry. This is what you did every fucking night and you hate yourself for it. Phenomenal music box version, easily the best music box version and one of the saddest music boxes for me. But Moody has to take #1 for me, im a sucker for that rich sax.

ok heres a list of my fave KK songs and why. (it's gonna be long)
1. Steep Hill - Ok so at first I didn't care too much but when I actually listened, it hit so different!! It just has that warm vibe, especially when you hear it the first time.
2. Marine Song 2001 - So I never played the previous games so I'm not to fond of Kapp'n, but his singing IS something else. One night I listened to it singing all my problems away and I cried.
3. KK Stroll - It was one of the first KK songs I got and it's still kind nostalgic. So happy and gentle, like Alice!
(I also like KK Bossa, Bubblegum KK, KK Disco, etc. but I can't find good reasons for them that doesn't sound like everyone else, but they ALL are amazing)

Yooooo kk disco! Man, it’s like, my favourite song and I think it’s under appreciated. I’ve had so many memories with it because I got new leaf when it first came out and played it nonstop. I only had kk disco on my cassette player and it play on loop for hours while I redecorated my house.
Shame on you for placing Synth so low but before I see it Stale Cupcakes is the best! Hypno KK is the unsettling one but I loved it before someone did a horror scene with it.
