Every now and then, I come to this video to see what my beloved Blizzard once was. It's holding on by a thread right now. Literally my favorite games are from Blizzard; Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo and still are today but Starcraft is finally dying, Warcraft is but a shell of itself (I still love and play it regularly) and Diablo wasn't what it used to be. Diablo 4 looks VERY promising and I'm super hyped for it. I'm sad because Blizzard still has the chops to make genre defining games but now it's at the expense of profit before fun which was the staple philosophy of Blizzard back in the day. Dark days going forward boys, very dark days. I still have hope though.
Made back when Activision hadn't fully sucked out Blizzard's soul yet. Better times, simpler times. I want to have hope that the company will recover what was lost and make great games again, but I've been burned by hope before. Thankfully Classic WoW is still good.

Excellent documentary with some really interesting parts. The point about Diablo possibly being made on claymation isn't that far-fetched, really. Keep in mind that all the enemies for Doom 1 and 2 were also made in clay, then photographed from different angles for each frame of animation, and then finally digitized. But given how many enemies Diablo ended up having, doing that really wouldn't have worked out.
