I think she is one of the few who keeps the quality of her voice similar to the recording. And that is insanely good
Maybe even better then the studio version. Excellent vocals and arrangements. She performed slightly better in the second semi final. I did' t put this song in my top 10 but it was very close. That tells alot about the quality of the songs this year. Finished 17th in the final, the worst coming from the second semi final.

Fisnik Xhelili It was all staged. Since North Macedonia has changed the name very recently, they wanted it to become recognizable - the reason North Macedonia got so many points from the juries. (they couldn’t control the telvotes though lmao) Many other entries lost jury points because of that.

Was rewatching 2023 and couldn't help but notice similarities between Spain's Eaea and this song. Both very intense songs with a lot of vocalizing, ethnic elements, 17th and 18th place overall. Both highly underrated masterpieces!

For me the only entry that deserved the win this year. Both Jonida and the backing vocalists blend in well, ethnic, in native language and the staging was more than enough to tell a story. Yes, she didn't sing some notes but that doesn't spoil anything for me.

As a Portuguese person I want to apologize Albania for the position of the Portuguese jury for having not given any points to this wonderful song, which, in my opinion is the only one which should have won this horrible ESC. The Portuguese Jury and televoters behaved exactly like the others did relatively to Conan Osíris, they behaved like people who have sold their souls to the bookmakers and to bad taste. The Netherlands are just a common place pop song, sung in English deprived of any cultural aspect that connects with the country it should be representing. This song will be forgotten in a couple of weeks. Albania's voice will remain in my heart as well as the message within. Thank you Albania. Shame on ESC2019 and their very bad organization. KAN KANNOT!
