This complete display is very delicatesd and costed me 86€ in Amazon. GH97-18250B for A5 510f. Check if you really need a new complete lcd display. Some use an metal wire and foam to separate the Glas from the metal layer. Do not forget not to cut or burn your finger and ESD safety.

To give you an idea, it may be like that the battery can begin to overheat for example, or maybe it could start to present other problems like the sistem getting slowy or to start to freeze. I don't know, I just don't like the idea of applying so much hot to the phone to get the glue out, and for a problem that may not be so bad like a cracked screen, the phone itself get worse and even damaged definitivily... No problem with the use of additional back case. The battery's lifetime is difficult to predict but with normal usage i would say 2 years easy.

why u only use double tape? is it strong enough?
yes it's enough, you have to use 3M double tape not a cheap one

Hello, no worry, you just have to heat over 180°C max while 10sec to 2 cm above. Go slowly and you should not have problem
