You are a real class act , one of the few gems in your line of work that have the knowledge & skills to repair vehicles properly and give the customer real value in knowing that all repair work is as good as the original factory build , & in some cases better that ‘66 mustang is now safe and beautiful thanks to your concern and honesty which are traits more body shops and repair shops in general should follow, keep up the excellent work & I’ll keep watching 👍

Thank you Doug. I treat every car as if it were my own. I see all to often what a lot of shops do to these old cars and I am more concerned with quality and not the bottom line. My motto in my shop is, "If it's not getting fixed right, it's not getting fixed here". I tell every customer this before we shake hands on a project. Stay tuned, the finale is coming.

The more videos I see from this car... the scarier I get to see what's underneath mine

They're not all as bad as this one. Some are actually very clean underneath many layers of paint. Don't let the possibility scare you, just take your time and do proper research on the correct way to do things

With all the broken parts that you had to cut out. How do you know what the actual piece looks like that you have to rebuild?

I've done enough 1st generation Mustangs to know what needs to be. There are some situations where there's nothing left to go by, that's when I refer back to the pictures I took of previous cars. If I'm lucky, I'll find a picture of what I need to duplicate. If not, then I use my background as a Toolmaker to engineer what needs to be done.
