Khanya is more than just toxic; she's straight up abusive. She seriously needs therapy. A LOT of therapy.

After Thabi saw that the teddy bear was from Lindile she said she felt bad about how emotional she was getting because Genesis was there and she should be focusing on him, because her time with Lindile is over.
She knew how Siza was going to feel about her gift and shouldn't make her feel bad for affirming her boundaries. She was wrong and she knew it.
Lots of love from South Africa 🇿🇦

Thank you!!! I 100% think Nkateko gets off on Khanya's bad behaviour and while she's shockingly cruel, her behaviour is also very predictable and I think he pushes her buttons on purpose. I even feel like Khanya might have actually been right when she said Nkateko is fake. I think he's very good at looking clean and playing the victim. I'm in no way excusing what Khanya has done. She needs help and she should never treat any human the way she's treated everyone on the cast, Nkateko included. BUT Nkateko is not this sweet innocent puppy (in my eyes) and I think my good sis Siza was collateral damage. I also think Nkateko showed his true colours when he sent Siza to Khanya that night when Khanya verbally violated Siza. He got off on these two women fighting over him and he also got to show Khanya how much Siza is into him. Even the way he and Khanya fought the night of the wine throw was sus for me. The words and the verbiage for me felt like he was bating her anger. I don't like Nkateko AT ALL, sorry. He and Khanya deserve each other. You guys are right - they must never break up.

It is very sad , hopefully its not true. Imagine that child growing up with a volitile mother , who barades your father calling him names. I hope Nkateko finds help leaving and healing from the narcistic abuse.

Ruth is my fav but I also love Thabi and I have to call her out there. Siza never interfered in her trial mariage with Lindile so I think Thabi should return the courtesy.

She is cruel and abusive, and he is wounded and insecure. They are a toxic stew!!! I agree with you guys, let them stay together. They are both scary and dangerous! Do not unleash them on anyone else!

People saying Nkateko likes it, baffles me a little. To me it is clear that he's in an abusive relationship and people are making it seem like he thrives on it. Women can be abusive to men too and we need to acknowledge it and say it.

  • @VashtiPerry

30:51 I think there are guys like Issac who are so traditional that they think their women will be there even with lack of attention and affection and only anticipate that they can let their person in ONLY after they get married.
My child father was like this. Sweet talking in the beginning as soon as we start dating slowly trailed off only to get together or date every once in awhile. Any questions? I asked him trying to get to really know him. He was completely offended because I wasn't married to him yet. He was from Nigeria and not South Africa. But I feel like this might be some type of traditional thinking. Anyway, my child's father pass but we wouldn't have made it any longer because he was beginning to be ridiculous. Similar to the situation I was just getting tired of being blocked out because even though he was saying how much he loved me, it almost felt like we were not really together.

Agree with you 100% about Nkatako and Khanya!! Both toxic. He fed on the drama with Siza and Khanya. He is the villain in the series! Very bad behavior to set up Siza with her!! He was probably watching in the bushes snickering.

I feel like Nkateko has been abused and has his coping mechanisms since he feels like he can't leave. It's not easy to see abuse for what it is when you are in it. Because you also have lovey-dovey moments, your brain just blurs everything together and you and makes excuses for your partner when they hurt you.

I wish we saw the Lindile an Thabi sitch more cuz IDK what they said or did between them so it's hard to judge why they connected so much apart form the fact that they both issued the Ultimatum... I have this weird feeling with Lindile like his hidding something IDK why.... Enkateko Deserves EVERYTHING that happens to him... Going back to a human like that!? Anything that happens to him because of Khanya is HIS FAULT.

NOTICE Genesis and Courtney GIFTS are SAME . They were each other's partner on this show. They probably went TOGETHER and picked out the SAME gift and had the SAME idea for their PARTNER.
PRODUCTION had NOTHING to do with it.
That's probably why GENESIS felt DISAPPOINTED in himself because he really didn't put in the effort. He just went along with Courtney.

I truly have no words for Nketenko and Khaya. And I've finished the show and I still don't know. I think you guys are probably on to something he's toxic is a more calculated way 🤔 I wonder if he's trying to punish her for making him do the show
Genesis and Lindile are just such class acts here ❤ even Ruth and Issac are being pretty mature. This episode was less obvious drama and more complexities and I loved it
Courtney and Aiden were there too apparently lol This season needed a solid 3 more episode to explore everything else

Look. Khanya is classic clinical narcissist. Everything is about her and how it affects her. Nothing else has validity in her eyes and world view. She's the worst and he needs psychic evaluation for having any desire to be around that woman and energy.

Sorry but Genesis is too beta and has zero game. He walks around like a wide eyed puppy dog. If you're a woman that's cute if you need a simp and an ego boost but he doesn't exhibit masculine leader traits at all. He comes across more like a little brother and someone consistently being friend-zoned.
