I don’t know why, but I think it’s satisfying to watch the machine run. It makes nice stitches. I like the way they come out straight and not diagonal like some machines do.
Hey boss man. Get yourself the freehand groovers from tandy for use with those acrylic circle templates. Makes making those curves about 20x easier than using the regular stitch groovers without the guide arm. They feel like a pencil in your hand. Worth ten bucks bro
Thanks! The toaster oven is for melting the Aussie and allowing it to penetrate instead of sitting on the surface. I could also just put it in my car's dashboard at this time of year. I've used it in a couple of videos.
I love this! I've had a Diamondback skin I've wanted to use for years. Now I'm inspired! One question - which thread are you using. I've been looking for something a bit heavier to make it pop. Great Work!
What size and brand of edge beveler did you use on cutout area for snakeskin? Did you dampen leather before you ran decorative line around the holster?
Thank you for sharing my shop in your page , nice work and glad that you liked my pattern, I am releasing my video on 1911 holster , please visit my channel and see my work , any comments are welcomed , still developing my skills in filming my leather making process
That will age like a fine wine. Masterpiece
That is possibly the most beautiful holster I’ve ever seen
Love watching you work, but man, that music. Better than a sleeping pill...lol
It makes me feel like I'm watching an african nature documentary.
Ha. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!
Wow! Craftmanship at its finest!

Just checked them out on their website. Those look they'll work good! Will have to pick one up next time I'm there. Thanks for the heads up!
That's amazing, I only have an army holster for mine, very inspiring!

Reads bottle of Leather Dye: “Apply Liberally”
“Well, if you say so”
Nice deep dying and scratches won't look white.
Was that bake for two or ten minutes? What temp? That is a good looking holster. Thanks for the video.
Is that neatsfoot oil you're applying over the oxblood dye?
I enjoy your videos and workmanship. Was the purpose of the toaster oven just for drying ? neve r saw you use it before.

@@RoadAgentLeather I use to do the same thing to my boots before gore Tex with snowseal.lol works great.

Where do you purchase the milled leather?
I get mine from Tandy Leather
I need a holster for my M&P Shield 9mm.
You should get yourself a head lamp. That way you can keep both hands free, and not have to worry about moving a small flashlight around.
Great looking holster. I would love to own one for my full size 1911. Do you make them for sale? If so I’m very VERY interested.
I occasionally sell the stuff from my RUclips channel on my Etsy page. look up "roadagentleather"
What did you airbrush on the snake skin before you mounted it?
Angelus Acrylic Finisher. There's a shot of it @12:55. It's to seal it.
Oh I must of missed that, thank you. Beautiful holster.
Another killer job!!!
Remake the cross draw in black and blue, rh, owb,15 degree forward cant and let me know how to pay you.
Do you have a plastic or real 1911 WITH RAIL for reference? I have one that is difficult to find leather for.
The one in this video has a rail. You can kinda see it poking out from the leather.
Do you use 207 thread?
Owner of Road Agent Leather to employee: “Hey I can’t figure out why we’re going through ten bottles of Fiebing’s Dye every week”…
All I want to know is where to get one ??
How can I purchase one of your products?
What size and brand of edge beveler did you use on cutout area for snakeskin?
Did you dampen leather before you ran decorative line around the holster?
It's a "SINCE" size 0 (the smallest they make). Tandy sells it under their "pro" brand line. But you can buy it under different brand names on Amazon.
Yes, the leather is dampened slightly before I cut the groove.
@@RoadAgentLeather Thanks. You do beautiful work.
Was that foam you were using as a template/prototype? Genius!! What kind of foam is it?
Go to Michaels. They sell it in sheets. Its just a sheet of craft foam. Good Proxy for leather.
How a about a viking art toled holster ?
Where can I order one?
B E A U T I F U L...
What is the powder you were brushing on the stitches?
Probably carbon or black paint pigment. Once its on there, good luck taking it off.
Are you going to put this on Etsy?
Probably? Look me up there.
How much to make that
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I can't find the pattern. Can you include a link
Added it to the description!
Me interesa, deseo saber precios.
you must start selling the patterns
Actually, this pattern can be purchased from Etsy. The seller's name is in the video description.
@@RoadAgentLeather i know but your own holsters are nicer
If that snakeskin inlay had been in a reddish stain to match the lining it might have been even prettier - if that's even possible! Thanks!
Do you waste so much material just to make the video seem more interesting than it really is?
Not sure I follow. This video was from a while ago, so I don't remember?

Please consider dropping the repeating and frankly boring background music, otherwise great video
Do you have a website for retail sales?
I have an Etsy page where I sell the items I make on my RUclips channel
Saludos buen trabajo👍👍👍
