- Hello and welcome back to your Regular Touhou Channel! How have you been? We got your new video once again, please come and take a look! This time we got a music video with The Memories of Phantasm but with a little retro look and a small clip with audio and music from Vampire Princess Miyu, the OVA from 1988. Vampire Princess Miyu, one of my all time favorite anime series, is a multimedia project that doesn't only include OVAs and TV series with nice animation and wonderful sountracks, it also includes a manga series with gorgeous illustration being published since the 80s, which actually continues to this very day.
Making a nostalgic video with Memories of Phantasm and music from Vampire Princess Miyu is something I always wanted to do. This pretty much focuses on the Scarlet Mist Incident instead of the whole series, but I think it's more fitting. There are also a couple of glitches around you might notice, sorry for that. * Fantasy Kaleidoscope ~The Memories of Phantasm~ (幻想万華鏡～The Memories of Phantasm～ Gensou Mangekyou ~The Memories of Phantasm~) is a fan-made animated video series produced by Manpuku Jinja. The first episode, Fantasy Kaleidoscope ~The Spring Snow Incident~ (幻想万華鏡～春雪異変の章～ Gensou Mangekyou ~Shunsetsu Ihen no Shou~), was released at Comiket 80 on August 12, 2011, on DVD.
* Vampire Princess Miyu (吸血姫 美夕, Vanpaia Miyu)
A quiet gothic horror story about a vampire girl, Miyu, whose destiny it is to hunt down murderous demons known as Shinma and return them to their land of origin, the Dark. Miyu is pursued by the Spiritualist Himiko, determined to find out who Miyu is and to stop her from sucking the life blood from helpless humans. Each of the four episodes chronicle one of Miyu's encounters with a Shinma and the humans that it is affecting, from the perspective of Himiko's pursuit of Miyu.
