I have 6 of them for my 6 Springfield XD-M’s/XD-E. I have never had a need to look to other holsters because Hidden Hybrid Holsters are amazing. The customization work they do to accommodate lasers and red dot optics is also outstanding. I’ll keep going back to them anytime I need a new holster.
I've tried many, many holsters and this one completely changed the game. I can wear it with anything. From dress clothes to basketball shorts and even pj's, I now always carry because of this holster. The XDM 3.8 compact is not the lightest gun but I don't even notice now. I can honestly say it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. *I appendix this model with zero issues*
I have had this holster for my PX4 Full size 45 for about 4 years now. I love it for the retention, (can tip upside-down without a fully loaded weapon falling out) and being a lefty I wear it IWB at 9 o'clock and it is wicked comfortable. The clips keep it in place so the weapon comes out and the holster stays put. A keeper for sure.

Hidden Hybrid Holster (HHH) as you well know is based in Canton,Ohio. So they are about an hour from my home. The way I got to be acquainted with hidden hybrid holster was really kind of by chance. I was in one of my local gun shops and I always check out the clearance Bend. In the box that day was a HHH for a Sig P220 very very slightly used. Since with my occupation we carry concealed at all times and a Sig Sauer P220 is my duty weapon I naturally purchased the holster for work. At that particular time I was running a Alien Gear holster with the same style of metal clips that HHH uses. I totally fell in love with their holsters and when I found out that they wasn't too far from my house so more or less neighbors so to speak it made me more loyal to them Even more. And seriously dude put our quality holsters as they are the only holster could I run now and don't get me wrong I have some other holsters from some other well-known makers but I truly do enjoy using a HHH everyday.
Off topic, but I also have degenerative disc disorder L4, L5 and SI joint. Have an amazing pain doc and the combo of nerve ablasions and steroid injections made a HUGE difference. Hope you get it worked out: chronic pain sucks life out of everything.
Yeah, I've got the same back deal you & Tim Misuraco Sr have. I used to do a lot of cycling (real cycling, not gym) & despite how it might appear, this was the best all around way to strengthen back & leg muscles as well as stretch the back a few thousand times per ride. I'm no bean pole, so it was mostly 10 MPH stuff, but I worked up from 2-3 miles to 50 on a good day. Outdoors is way different than the gym. 💪
Sorry to hear about your back pain. Pretty much everyone over 30 has DDD, some have symptoms like you, others are asymptomatic. It does seem that you are a bit preoccupied with your diagnosis. Might I suggest you check into the content produced by the MDs over at Barbell Medicine? I had a stress fracture in my l4/l5 about ten years ago, barbell training and getting educated about pain and it’s relationship to our musculoskeletal system by those guys has changed everything. Love what you’re doing with the channel man, and will definitely consider adding this hybrid holster to my rotation.

Just had microscopic lower lumbar L4 and L5 decompression surgery Thursday and so far so good . The pain in my leg was gone when I woke up but still feeling pain in my ass cheek. Still got a lot of healing to do but it feels better than it has in 20 years. Thanks again on the review.
That's great! I have been mitigating my pain by daily workouts. I know that not everyone has the ability to do that but luckily that has help for me. I am glad that you enjoyed the video. I'm not sure if you carry AIWB but they also offer holsters to carry that way too (to help with your back).

I just got mine OWB only version and I hate it. One: It seems to colapse and prevents me from re-holstering unless I look down and use both hands. Two: The cant is horrible, it is unnatural to point the Muzzle so far back, as designed the muzzle points to people behind me and not straight down. I am returning mine before the 30 days are over. Mine only has the belt cut outs, not the clips.
These are the only holster I buy and have several both appendix small of the back and the combo your showing here for many different pistol from the shield to the glock 36 and many others compact full sized have never had a problem and they are made in America and veteran owned.
Who says you have to wear it on the side, I have that exact holster and I wear it as an appendix carry holster everyday and it very comfortable that way! You should try it that way if you still have it and see how you like it ....

I Know they have one that is specific for appendix but my idea is that this one having more real estate resting against your skin may release the pressure I normally feel from the lower tip of the holster into my upper groin. What is your experience..?
How would this compare to Alien Gear Cloak Tuck IWB Holster? I understand that this is an Inside and Outside holster, but besides that they look very similar. And the Alien Gear is like $40.00 less. Opinions?
How would these compare to black arch holsters? I have no experience with either but heard great things about the black arch and that they were the best of the best as far as hybrids go.
I am not familiar with black arch holsters; however, after looking at them I can see one advantage to them over Hidden Hybrid. The fact that it has Dri-Matrix fabric that allows the holster to breath may be a very enticing aspect. The only thing I would say about HHH's holster is that I have not had an issue with getting overly hot while wearing it. So, that feature may not be necessary to me, personally. Thanks for watching!

I carry that same holster in the appendix location it's is comfortable. I'm just suggesting to try the holster in appendix carry location. I would be interested in what you think.
I see...so what about the appendix position is causing you to struggle? I have found that with my rigs, I loosen my belt just slightly to all it to ride below my waist line. I have found that allows for better mobility and allows me to conceal a bit better
I have a HHH like the one in this video but it's for a CZ SP-01. Holster works and is very well made but the SP-01 is just a bit too big and heavy for me to carry often. Would like to see a review of the HHH for appendix carry using something like the P365.
I have an SP01. Yes, heavy. But I reduce the number of rounds to 12 and the weight is comparable to others. Love my P01 especially with the cajun trigger job.
I’ve been seriously considering this hybrid holster for some time, but like you, I don’t like carrying OWB or at the 4 o’clock position. Maybe, I’ll consider giving it a try.
Just speaking for myself all I carry on the inner waist belt is hybrid holsters but I make my own because I'm picky about fitting it. As far as the leather against your skin goes once you break it in and if you use quality leather the fitment against your skin is fine the feel is like wearing a leather jacket inside out it's cold at first but with your shirt over it it'll warm up fast. And as far as rubbing or any kind of skin abrasion is concern as long as your Hardware has a smooth polished back and you're wearing your holster correctly it shouldn't cause any discomfort mine don't and I carry a full-size 1911
On a side note we have similar back injuries however mine also goes down into my S1 and mine is my left side that has the issue but it's fairly severe to the point where I'm supposed to use a walker but instead I chose a cane. Soon we will be trying to destroy that cane lol
Tim - I know your pain. Mine's on the left mostly too. One bad disc & a bunch of arthritis build up around the nerve lines where they go through the lower vertebrae. It tends to take me down in the spring & the early fall. I can barely walk sometimes. I gotta get back into my outdoor cycling. Maybe one of those new electric bicycles to help with the hills (asthma). It's only money! 💪

I suffered with Sciatic Nerve Pain for 20+ years! I was in Nuke Sub Construction and it wasn't so bad decades earlier. But the left that went into building construction, Universities, Casinos, Hotels, yata, yata. Then moved to Florida went into Project Management for Road Construction! Finslly, to a long weekend flew back home to Connecticut where I was born. Because I had friends that became Doctor's. So, I go in to see my pal explain this weird problem. I explained I was in and out of pick-up trucks (my mobile office) and thought maybe that was the problem? So he says, "Okay Walter stand up, face me, turn around, look straight ahead"? He takes my wallet out of my left rear pocket, puts it in my front left pocket, says, "You're cured"! HUH! Yep, "medicine has come along way", he laughed! Anyway, no fee! That took care of 90% of the problem. 10% was I lost weight, plus doing spine alignments at home. But, somethimes while carrying my 1911 I.W.B. I had an issue. But, a nice belt slide O.W.B. worked.

Same here, I’m an xdm lover but all 12 of my pistols ONLY use these holsters.

Is your trigger exposed on the backside? I purchased one of these for my Ruger Max 9 and there is a big gap on the backside exposing the trigger.
Have you worn it such that the leather is against your skin? I'm wondering how it feels after rubbing direct on skin after a day's carry.

I think it’s a better option but only slightly. HHH would edge out Vedder on the quality of materials and assembly.

I think they are currently testing sidecars with some of their field reps. I would expect one to be available soon but couldn't say for sure.
