at 8:40 the kid on the left behind the main 2 characters is continuously hitting his time clock despite the other player not making any moves.
He's palying with the black guy, not the white man, the white man is the kid's father.

The funny thing is that they are using the algebraic notation in Harry Potter (events in the 1990s) while using the descriptive notation in Blade Runner (events in 2019)😂

@@smalltrashman4227get real. Bobby Fischer, like all top chess players in history and today, understand chess on an incredibly deep level. You cannot "play the man" until you truly understand the game. If you cannot calculate a concrete advantage (material, mating...) for your "flashy" "emotional" (bad) moves, you will never make it out of 3 digit ELO range. "Playing the man" only happens at the highest level of preparation, such as World Chess Championships. Even then, concrete ideas must be weighed over everything.
@laughingocelot2097 You basically just agreed with me without realizing it lol. I never said you could "play the man" without understanding the game, I just said that he did every time and still won most of the time.

@@GKFC From what I saw, QR 1 and QR 2 were still open. It's a 2-D screen, though, so I might not have seen everything.
The King is in check by a pawn, which is covered by another pawn and a knight. The only escape is covered by a bishop, so I'm not sure what either of those moves you're suggesting achieves. The game is over (which makes Xavier's flex even stronger).
Ka1 and Ka2 aren't guarded by a Bishop.
The King is trapped in the corner with only 1 move available that's covered by a bishop.

Literally No one it means he moved his bishop to the 7th row of either the 3rd column or the 5th column, from what i figured out. I didnt know before that that was a way of saying a square, its usually just bishop to c7 or b to f7. Where the letters are the columns
I don’t think the game makes any sense since it is Bishop to Bishop 8 discovered check, but there is no way that is a discover check

@@NormalPhilosopher It's the old way of notating, now it's not used anymore, it's actually a very beautiful queensacrifice in this game (it's based on a position from the game Larsen-Petrosian 1966). The Fischer-Spassky game commentary is nonsense. The Sicilian is a *defense* played by *Black* - Fischer is playing White.
bishop to rook 3??? what does that even mean???
In the old days that how they called notation.
The Piece signify which file that is and the number obviously the row.
In this case Bishop to Rook 3 means Bishop to a3 or h3.
They would normally have King of Queen as well, like if its Bishop to King's Rook 3 then it's Bishop to h3, like wise Bishop to Queen's Rook 3 would be Bishop a4
