How To Link Kajabi & ConvertKit (Through A Kajabi Offer)

This video reveals how to integrate Kajabi and Convertkit through a Kajabi offer.
Why would you want to do this? Well, if someone buys your product in Kajabi, you can have Kajabi "tell" ConvertKit who bought the product.
So if you use ConvertKit for your ESP (email service provider) you can use this information to include or exclude Kajabi customers from ConvertKit.
In ConvertKit, I have forms created for each of my Kajabi products. I also have rules that create tags when someone purchases a product from Kajabi. Given ConvertKit's robust ability to include and exclude subscribers from emails (from tags, forms, segements, etc.) having the form AND the tag is a little redundant. However, it's helpful when certain third party applications only connect to ConvertKit through tags.
In ConvertKit, I also have a tag for ALL Kajabi customers.
Setting tags up in this way makes it SUPER easy to include or exclude subscribers from different emails. You can exclude exiting customers of a product from a sale of that product.
Of you can offer existing customers a special deal on a new product -- while non-customers have to pay the full price.
Kajabi does have it's own robust email marketing system. But I use other product hosts beyond Kajabi (like Sendowl and ThriveCart and Patreon) so having a 3rd party ESP like ConvertKit makes it easier to connect all these different hosts together. Everyone sends their information to ConvertKit.

Hey this is a great video. I've connected my Kajabi checkout (offer) cart with Converkit and it's working. The issue I have is the FULL NAME from Kajabi gets put in the FIRST NAME field in Convertkit. Do you know a way to resolve this?

Hi there! I set it up as instructed, however when I buy an offer, the information doesn't get to ConvertKit. Is there something special I have to do with the Form on CK to make sure it goes through properly? Match fields, etc.? Thanks!
