Whether it is taking out a $322,000 mortgage against an elderly person’s home without her knowledge as he did to Brigitte Beck in May 1996, or stiffing Greg White of the The Ad Agency for $6,000 in September 2008, one thing is for certain: it is the same Bey Rutherford."
Watching these shows its UNBELEIVABLE to me the lengths to which criminals will go to, to either hide a crime or commit one. Stabbing yourself multiple times in the chest order to make it look like you're dead? Seriously???
It's so sad when people take advantage of sweet innocent people who trust them with everything they have. Don't worry sweetie there's a special place in hell for people like them.
I find Dr Bass's surroundings to be fascinating - pretty sure he's got a preserved head just sat behind him? not sure I could concentrate in that room...

Poor lady, he was already a monster before he met you. From his eyes, he was never your friend but sadly another one of his countless innocent victims. I wish this lady the best and that she can recover from her loss. I got scared he stayed at her home, i thought she gonna get killed. Good karma only for good people. 🙏🏼
When he said it I imagined a guy with a big sombrero and some tool in his hand. Lower income person would have been enough but the guy took the long route.
It was a pretty good plan ngl… but there’s an old saying, if you think you’ve planned the perfect crime/murder there’s at least 25 ways you could get caught. If you can figure out half of them you’re a genius, but no one will ever figure out the 25.

Rutherford, who has owned and operated the Columbia pizzeria at 707 Harden St. since 2007, is firmly establishing a reputation around town for not paying his bills. Fellow business owners, beware: Court records obtained by City Paper show Rutherford owes close to $10,000 to local advertising and marketing agencies.
So, nobody bothered to run a background check, sounds like.
This is definitely one of my favorite crime shows no fake news ⚡🇺🇸⚡💪🏼😎🚬
5 years for fraud is unbelievable and what about the abuse of a corpse.
So the old lady is left without her pension and the thieves get 5 years and 18 months only. To live happily ever after……
I really don’t like rich people but she seems just an old, very sweet lady. It must’ve been scary for all your money to be just gone like that
That's really nothing, btw. Makes some problems go away. But it's not rich.
How common are car explosions? It seems accidents are common, but very uncommon to have a car spontaneously catch on fire after an accident.
You'd think the rampant odor of gas would give it away?
And how'd the body get upside down? That would be harder than the right way. Should also be upright (heat rises, obviously)
So he couldn’t get charged under false pretenses which caused her loss of money..wow! I feel so bad for her! I’m pretty sure his next step was to make her disappear too!
Poor lady, he was already a monster before he met you. From his eyes, he was never your friend but sadly another one of his countless innocent victims. I wish this lady the best and that she can recover from her loss. I got scared he stayed at her home, i thought she gonna get killed. Good karma only for good people. 🙏🏼
I feel bad for family of the body he robbed
He said Mexican peasant. Do we have American peasants
Weird expression indeed but I guess they wanted to say is a poor Mexican person …
When he said it I imagined a guy with a big sombrero and some tool in his hand. Lower income person would have been enough but the guy took the long route.
Yes I think it would have been best to say “ working class” very bizarre to say “ peasant “
Idk about anyone else, but he seemed like the old racist boomer type.
"He said Mexican peasant. Do we have American peasants" yea they are called republicans
I guess he might have killed that old lady , if everything went as he planned.
This comes first in terms knowledge and how science is up to in all of forensic files!!
Five years??? Where is justice
Always greedy, never enough, always wanting..... I'm happy just getting by 🤠
Forensic had a great meticulous job.
Brigitte Beck is clearly a horrible judge of character. No wonder Rutherford saw her as an easy mark
As soon as I heard the clasp of the medical bracelet was open I thought the body had been switched.
*But when the investigators showed proof he was dating other women, she changed her mind*
🤣🤣🤣🤣😆
It was a pretty good plan ngl… but there’s an old saying, if you think you’ve planned the perfect crime/murder there’s at least 25 ways you could get caught. If you can figure out half of them you’re a genius, but no one will ever figure out the 25.
I have 2: don't put the stolen corpse (that's way older than you) upside down on the passenger side. Particularly with the wrong ethnicity.
Great job, Dr. Bass!
Wow. I can't believe he only got 5 years for all of that... SMH
How dumb can people be to hand over $500,000 at 65 years old for someone else to watch....
VERY NICE GERMAN LADY SHE REMINDS ME OF MY MOTHER. I WISH I HAD A WAY TO GET BACK HER $500,000 BECAUSE I SURE WOULD.
Brígida was gullible I wouldn’t EVER trust someone with my life savings!!!
She had 3 siblings living in Germany she could have designed as Power of attorneys etc
Never give all of your investment to one person.
if that was my mum that he defrauded, I'd be angry, but happily give him the contact details for the `mobility scooter man' because he would definitely need him after I'd finished with him..
2 things. 1. Why couldn’t they find the grave that was disturbed by Madison and if there was no name then look back at recent people who had died and just been buried. 2. I would’ve thought that the judge or court or whoever would’ve compensated bridgetta for the 500,000 since it was taken from her.
