Hey Puri and Sue! We have never had duck rice before, but it looks delicious. Nothing better than rice soaked in a good sauce. Love how afforable it was at $1.44/plate. Here in the US duck is very expensive at restaurants and to order a whole duck is around $24/USD. It's great where you live you can get so much good food, and so inexpensive! They gave great portions and the meat looked so tender and juicy too. Glad to see you both really loved this dish! Great video and love you guys to the moon!

Some fancy Hong Kong restaurants here do sell it around that price too but we're really glad that there are so many street food alternatives that are very affordable 😍 Wish we could share it with you guys! That's a comforting plate of meat and rice. We would eat the heck out of that for sure. Really love how a lot of these rice dishes include a boiled egg. It is indeed very generous. Such a treat. Yes, fried garlic is always a nice touch. You guys have an art to finding beautiful and unique dishes.

The duck rice looks so good guys and yes bet that pickled veggie is great to go with rice, my grandma used to cook the similar one and I always had it with steamed rice. Yum!

Some dishes you want to try once and you'll be satisfied for a few months. But this looks like the kind of food I could eat everyday the price is good the food is simple but looks delicious and well done. Great review guys a classic braised duck done well 👍

Duck has a nice fatty sweetness to it. Very different from Chicken. I love it in a poutine here in Canada. Sadly the spot I used to go to get it has not re-opened yet.

That's true. We usually have restaurants here serving Hong Kong styled roast duck rice but braised duck is very rare.
