Curved standard station recently adapted for automation. But the platform screen doors are not the most elegant or esthetic. It's by the way the only metro station with 2 connection tracks. The track direction Bagneux -Lucie Aubrac has a interconnecting track at entering the station and one when leaving the station to lines 12 and 6. 👍😇😁
Someday I will film a walkthrough through these connection tracks. 😄
Yes, the straight platform screen doors and the curved wall don't match. They could have used at least curved models of these huge flat screen TVs on the platform. 😋
Why did they add these? I don’t remember seeing anything of the sort in any metro station back in the day.
Are there no lifts or escalators? With luggage or strollers, it is a challenge.
No, at least not from the street level to the platform. I don't remember exactly, but there could be an escalator leading upwards from the platform to the mezzanine level, if I read the signs at 5:47 correctly. But that's a problem at almost every metro station in Paris...
