Soloing on up-tempo numbers like this on piano is very demanding. Hats off to Mr Kikoski, he handles it with aplomb - although some might say that he's just showing off! Great stuff.

Maybe it's spontaneous enthusiasm. I've seen that here and there in Jazz gigs, don't hold it against them, but I reckon it's distracting to both us audience members and soloist himself. After all Kikowski wasn't done yet....
