    If you change it to 720p it works better at night. Also max memory capacity is 128gb. If you brighten settings it would look better at night

    Thanks for this review. I bought the C450 and the C420D and never used the rear camera as I am in a U.S. at fault state. Basically if I am rear ended, its almost always the person behind my car's fault. Unless they flee the scene, then the rear is very useful. I also suggest to anyone that you keep audio on, and yell out anything you need (like someones license plate that is fleeing the scene of an accident). With some video and your audio, it would really help your case for insurance purposes.

    Good review( besides the repetitive horrible looping "music" lol), I have the same dashcam, just need to install it in my car. Good to see its decent at night, I imagine the rear camera is better in towns and when there's a car behind you too

  • @n4neq

    You are correct the rear camera is awful at night. Background music was very monotonous. Would have been better with no music. But thanks for the review, I was considering buying a used one

    since it uses adhesive... isn't it a pain to get the front dash cam off every time you want to upload that video to your computer? or does it come on and off easily?

    • @TechGadgetsMedia
      @TechGadgetsMedia  2 года назад +1

      You only have to stick the mount bit on the windshield. The camera comes off easily. Also you can remove the micro SD card.

    Hi, Great review mate, Really like it a lot, I do plan of getting this camera this week, however I'm still wondering if the video of the front and rear can be setup in the same video and also the other way arround for example I watch another review that have the two cameras angles overlap (The rear video like a mini preview in the bottom of the front main video) My question here is that I see in your review that you have 2 footage of the front and back but not in the same video, that means that the camera can save the 2 angles (rear and front) in 2 different videos inside the memory card? Because if for example I've an accident that is rear end only and I need to show the video to the police or insurance, I don't want it to be a ¨Mini Preview¨ since it will be small and maybe without much details, as well if I have, have a front accident I don't want the mini preview of the rear camera in the way.
    I really hope you can help me with this question.

    • @TechGadgetsMedia
      @TechGadgetsMedia  3 года назад +3

      Hi, so the camera is recording the front and back at the same time. On the camera you see both footage overlaps eachother but they are actually separate. When you put your SD card from your camera into a pc you can see that both footage has got separate folders.

    Does it have an internal battery for motion detection when the car is parked? Does it need to be switched to a different mode when the car is parked or does it knows to stop recording? Thanks so much!!!!

      To do what you are talking about, it would need an optional cable that connects into the fusebox. These are widely available on AMZ for less than $20.

    • @TechGadgetsMedia

      You need constant power to do that, your cars plug socket probably turns off as soon as you turn your car off. There is a way to install the camera to the fuse box but you have to search for another guide.

    • @TechGadgetsMedia

      I recommend at least 32gb. 64gb will work just fine and it will record plenty of footage. Also when its full it will record the footage over the old ones.

    My camera for some reason is deleting the footage from yesterday. And I have a 32gb card and there wasn’t a lot of footage on there. Do you know why it’s doing this

    • @JamesThompson97
      @JamesThompson97 3 года назад +1

      Sounds like a fake 32gb sd card - if you buy a knock off sd card, it's usually a 4gb card that they spoof to show as 32gb, so content will get overwritten quicker.
