Came across these shoes quite by accident. After reading the book "Born To Run", I was looking for something with little or no cushion and arch support, but still new nothing about this market and had never heard the term "minimalist running shoes". The shoe store I was at only had one model that fit the bill and, fortunately, it turned out to be the Minimus. I went from running a mile on a track to a couple times a week to running 3-4 miles up and down hills. It's a whole different feeling!
I tended to roll my right ankle on the technical trails here in Thailand. I ran with a number of shoes, all let me roll. I bought the New Balance Minimus MT10OB2, looks just like what Anton is wearing here. I have yet to roll my ankle in these. The feel is "just right" for running on soft dirt, bouncing from rock to rock, on sand, and on hard limestone rockface. I don't slip at all. Love the feeling. Just ordered 2 more pair. My 75 year old friend (stairclimber, fast-walker, and hiker) tried mine on. He wants me to order them for him too. The Minimus is NOT for concrete... but trails, oh yeah. Very nice...
@MrNesky1 man Anton is the king,he got me into trail running and save my ass cos I shouldnt fight any more and I really got depressed over that! Anton, thank you so much dude...you rock!!
I've never looked at a marathon runner and said "That person looks really healthy." I think the people (men especially) that are the healthiest have a balance in cardio and stregth training and eat healthy. Even Anton(on the skinny side) looks like he still has some muscle tone unlike all the skeletons running marathons.
I got long hair like that - but how in the world can you run with that dangling in your face all the time? Would drive me crazy. ALWAYS ponytail for me...

I love that music, I could run to it all day. Could someone please tell me who it by.
Would love to see Anton win more races!
Best advertising for running is just someone enjoying themselves like Anton.

Very few people in the world are as fit as him & can run like he does.

Into the Wild. No phone, no pool, no pets, no cigarette!
The New Balance team flies to the island only to find that Anton, their ultra-athlete is already there, having strolled right across that water
