@@Sia-Moi here to help, even tho its probably lil late, maybe someone else will like to know this: If you want to crochet 6 rows at the same time you need to chain 40 more. Here is an example for different number of rows: 2= ch +8 3= ch +16 4= ch +24 5= ch +32 6= ch +40 etc.. I am going to write an example for 6 rows at the same time: First column : 1. 'BOX': 1x yarn over, to the 4th ch from the hook, yarn over, pull through, {yarn over, pull through 2} this two last steps repeat till you'll have just one loop on your hook. Second column: ch1 [2x yarn over, into the V, yarn over, pull through, start of dc] = repeat 5 times 1x yarn over, insert hook to the second loop of chain, yarn over, pull through, [yarn over, pull through 2 loops on the hook] =do this til you'll have just one loop on hook Repeat the 'second column' til the end of your chai, then: ch18, 2x yarn over (from this just yo), into the 5th ch from the hook, yo, pull through (from this just pt), start of dc, [2x yo, into the 3rd, yo, pt, start of dc] =do this 4 times, then: 1x yo, to the idk how ro name it, but its practically same as in video, just with diff numbers, yo, pt, [yo, pt2] =till the end And the just do the 'second column', and you know how to continue
I am just learning how to do different kind of crochet stitches and stumbled upon your video while watching how to do a single row mesh stitch!! THANK YOU SO MUCH
Thank you so very much!! I've been crocheting for over 10 years and this is the first time I've come across doing two or more rows at a time!! What a wonderful idea!!
❤ THIS has been a top 5 life hack for me personally. I crochet so many things from clothes blankets hats bags bath towels etc etc etc and this is perfect for anything that is going to be used for a mesh look or even as a pattern for a decorative shower curtain and matching bath mat with decorative hand towels as a gift. Perfect house warming or guest room design. JUST an fyi as I'm working on such things for my daughter's new townhome, my sister's new house with a mother in law wing and actual mother in law who will be using it... And I'm also using it for SEVERAL beach dresses/swim suit coverups I'm making for family to are about to head out for a nice cruise. I'm doing one for some ladies at Church. One for my bestie and of course the practice one I kept and love it so much it's my favorite new house dress!
Wonderful that this has been so useful to you! 💙 So many great items! It really is very versatile! Also doing the same with 3 rows at the same time I find good. I haven't tried how many rows would still work when you need lots of yarnovers at the same time! One thing I have planned to make for a long time but haven't got round to yet is mesh towels in bamboo. Maybe this summer I get round to that!
Awesome video. It was easy to follow and understand. Usually I have to stop the video and go back and watch it a hundred times, this was perfect. Thank you so much. Beautiful work.
Wow, this is something new to me. A new twist on the latice facewasher that was the first thing I made when my Grandmother taught me how to crochet 57 years ago. I like this. I wish you a happy and blessed Christmas and a great New Year.
Just found this and I'm 'Hooked' !! Want to make a summer top, which will be done in no time. Thank you sooo much Tuula you are a master - Have tried the 3 rows at a time too, so going to mix it up - I appreciate you

Hi!! Thank you so much for the amazing tutorial!! I had a quick question if you don't mind answering it. I was wondering if maybe you had any tips on how you'd increase using this method of mesh stitch
I'm very much behind answering comments, now at 11 days ago, because of taking time off at Easter so only saw this comment now. It is a bit tricky to increase with this because you need to make the middle also in line so it doesn't bulge outwards. I would increase by making two stitches into the same place but with the middle stitch, working it like a half double crochet, not like a double crochet as we do here. - I suppose it is hard to explain!!
I have a similar technique for crocheting two rows of double crochet at the same time. Goes super fast, and leave a nice uniform look to the work. It's something I have been doing for many years. I Also have a vido for it. Happy crocheting. .
I have a project here where I do part in 2-row mesh in the round. You can see it here, the link goes to that spot on the video ruclips.net/video/lEXDgKoxFHY/видео.htmlsi=MH3A1m9LJy3MkJx5&t=1190
This is very neat! I had to watch it a few times to get the left handed version. Do you chain one at the end of the row after the last stitch and THEN chain 7?
After time stamp 2:12 how do we continue? Do we chain stitches? How many times do we yarn over? Where do we go into the original chain? I dont know how to continue the chain? Could you do a video or explain on how to continue? Ive never done mesh before?
Repeat starts at 1:29 this is the pattern to the end of chain. Yarn over 2x , insert hook into 2 loops in middle of the row below, then yarn over pull through 2, two times, then yarn over, skip one chain and into bottom row, yarn over pull through bottom row. Then yarn over pull through two until you reach the top row. To end chain one and repeat til end.
Like @KyongKreated explained (thank you, it always takes me several days to answer comments on older videos!) . You repeat exactly the same that I have done that ends at time stamp 2:12. until the end of the chain, going into every second stitch on the chain.
See a new video where you crochet THREE rows of mesh at the same time: ruclips.net/video/OMFr0Te8UJg/видео.html
