Exactly. People have the right to protest, however there would have been more appropriate ways to have their voice heard. These Texas public state universities have an obligation by law to provide space on their campus for free speech and peaceful assembly for students or visitors.
Encampment isn’t part of freedom of speech and assembly. State University is a business, just like any other businesses. They have their own codes of conducts that their students must abide by. Violations of the codes of conducts can result in termination of enrollment. 50 Google engineers found out recently that they can’t just do what they want while on campus. @@GoblinPainter-dv1eo "...civil disobedience worked in 1773" (chuckling) Or, to put it another way: "Here's a quarter. Buy a clue."
Real journalism! How refreshing.
It's their campus I don't think so they didn't pay for it
The USA is too fractured and sick to survive .Our present crop of young adults are so under prepared to perform the necessary functions of adulthood.
Our current problems are nothing compared to what the US had to face in the last century. So, stop being so overly dramatic.
God bless America
🤔🍺. Did you see that Palestinian protester being choked and carried away... When are they going to learn , it needs to be a peaceful protest they cannot abuse their first and second amendment rights with anti-Semitism and hatred and violence that's against the law
Hate crimes and supporting terrorism is a crime.
History repeats itself. Roman empire.
Most of the students are there to protest. They don’t care what the protest is they just love the excitement in their lives away from exams. Student’s roles are study and protest. And protest about anything they know nothing about is fine
Perhaps it is time to take responsibility for their behavior. Obviously, they are not working to support themselves and to pay fees. They feel entitled to have fun in these encampment- all is funded and organised for protesters. Free tents, free gadgets, free food, and so much more😊
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
John 14:6 (KJV)
They didn't have a permit to protest!!!
And just like that, a college degree became as worthless as used toilet paper.
Imagine a people so insulated,so deceptively conspiratal that one's own country must pass laws so that YOU cannot criticize them
They are calling in people to join its like a cult. Divestments they are asking about could be people who works there ,,,, its their 401K . Were 401K are in stocks .
Arrest and deport
It’s never been about anything but Jew hatred.
It has to be. I mean why didn't we see student protests when the Russians invaded Ukraine?
because no genocide at that war@@Melior_Traiano
This is not about scared Jews anymore. These are clearly anti- American and anti - Western riots.

@@wire8art Do you remember when the Palestinians were spitting at the dead German-Israeli girl in the back of the pickup truck on Oct 7th?
There is payed iorganizerr. That should be enough to stop it
Dident their parents teach their children when growing up you don’t get rewarded for bad behaviour I find it sad that they are willing to lose their education and be left with big loans to pay back in the future
don’t they realise
Hamas couldn’t careless about their protests or them they only care about their selfs
You let them get by to long that's why they ack like that
This is so true. These are anti - American and ani - Western riots. Entitled brats studying useless woke subjects and getting Mickey Mouse degrees. By the way, Qatar and Emirates have been funding USA universities for the last 25 years. Surprise 😊
This must hurt to see how parents not only see their kids in college not drinking and partying but a waste of time, money for the education they put em through.
All students should be required to take and pass a standardized exam administered by the federal government before they can apply for federal loans for their educations.
Only the Alumni have say, students have not graduated yet and it is a fact that not all present at these protest will.
They are so afraid of getting expelled that one of their demands is not getting expelled 😂.
Just remember, you cannot criticize Israel
oh YES WE CAN !!!
THEY ARE DEAD WRONG
Correct people that criticize israel are putin puppets! I support Ukraine and Israel with Joe Biden!
Just as you can not criticize izzzlam
They can criticize Israel all they want; however, asking their universities to interfere with Israel’s policies is asinine. The defense industry sells weapons to half the world, not just Israel, so demanding their universities to drop defense stocks from their portfolios do what? These kids will never be productive citizens with such childish notions.
The children are trying 2 run the daycare center.
What happens when they get to court? Are they held until hearing, or are they just being released?
These Texas public state universities have an obligation by law to provide space on their campus for free speech and peaceful assembly for students or visitors.
Not in the charter. Their mission is education not politics.
Their little virtue signaling dog and pony show got them all an opportunity to wait in line at the unemployment offices. 😂
The universities are under no obligation to do so.
Wrong. Even state universities have their codes of conducts and they have to answer to the state government. Protest peacefully but encampment, vandalism and harassing other students would be unacceptable
Send in the goons
send the Texas National Guards....
I thought people that are in college were smart people, 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I WAS WRONG!!!
Gotta be stupid to back Islamic terrorists instead of Israel.
The government of US 🇺🇸 , shame on you how dear you treating to protectors as violation fighting arresting .

They need to enforce the charges so that employers can find the record and know to avoid hiring people like that.
They have given up their rights for quite some time now They will not have any of their demands met. The faculty have in large part, created this mess and they must be called out and held accountable.
More money without restrictions for genocide in Gaza along with more financial support for a war that has already been lost in the Ukraine. However, no money for jobless or homeless Americans. Lastly, more, money for other unwinnable foreign wars while the American economy falls apart helping the defense contractors and the Israeli lobby. This appears to be a serious conflict of interest that should be investigated as a threat to true American interests.
There is no Genocide in Gaza, since 1990, Gaza population is up.

Isreal had 3 major wars with multiple Arab states who were backed with the Arms from the USSR. Its still around and will not be defeated. You youngsters need to deal with reality. No one buys into the Apartheid, Genocide, Israeli Lobby propaganda. Hamas is a Marxist Leninist regime which managed to destroy itself and take Palestinian people down with it.
@@AliGhaffari-uy1xx Children being recruited and trained for war speaks volumes about Hamas humanity. You can find plenty of YT videos over the past 15 years.
So Proud of these conscious ANTI GENOCIDE protestors, but of course Empire does not appreciate them exposing their corruption .Only a Sociopath turns a blind eye to the occupation and genocide of a group of people for over 75 years. These youths are Heros and give me hope for this country.. BRAVO
People don’t seem to remember the mass murdering sniper that posted up in that tower right next to their protest! None of them are even old enough to know about that.

Who the freak told these students they own property?
Somebody should tell them their degrees mean nothing.😮
Ask the students to study.
How about the rights of other students who have been negatively impacted by these protests?
I think that any faculty who is opposed to the university's response should redogn thrir positions. If you resisted arrest, you need to be expelled and jailed.
If those students have a problem with how the iniversity invests their money, they should pay back their financial aid.
This crap will not stop until there is consequences. Charge them and give them jail time.
How about demanding for release of hostages?
their demands should not be met ever .. it is blackmail .
How do these people know the investments of these universities? 😮
“…how the protests have evolved over the week”…..Of course. It took time to get their instructions from foreign organizers.
Suspend the student and revoke the VISA of the foreign student who participates in such a riot
Because no one said you could camp there. Big difference between gathering and protest and camping out on campus and threatening other students.
WATER CANNONS!
Protester: "Stop the genocide!"
Officer: "We're not here to stop the genocide. We're here to stop you."
What after arrests? Will they be put behind bars.?
How do parents handle petulant unruly children?
Here's the thing. The campus is actually Private Property. If they ask you to leave you must leave. It is not PUBLIC Property therefore, free speech does not apply. It's the same as someone coming to my home & standing on my lawn vs standing in the street. My lawn, you go to jail. The street, you can yell all day.
Innocent Americans should not be arrested by police
Stand with Americans in demanding the justice
Change is needed!!! If you are a protester you need to go!!! That’s change we can live with.
Saying that "professional protestors" are responsible doesn't deflect responsibility when this happens 100% of the time. It's predictable, so you LEGALLY should have predicted it.
Noo its not their campus they paid for tuision not the ground or their buildings

Why should they be met? I remember President Obama saying that we don't negotiate with terrorists. Once you negotiate there will be another demand in the future and demands and negotiations will never cease.
