Just want to share, after watching this video, I spend almost a year looking for this game that can be delivered to my country. And today the game is finally arrive. Thanks for introducing this game hahaha
Thank you for this video! Just got this game and looked it up on RUclips so I can learn to play. Your face popped up and I was like 'Oh, yeah! I will know how to play'.😁😁
I'm so glad you've been enjoying this. I'm really hoping more people discover it, because I also thought it was a fantastic design. Due to the virus, copies haven't gone out as widely as they were meant to, with many still held up in warehouses. Did you find a copy in a store?
@@WatchItPlayed yeah I love it! Can't wait till all this is over to play with my friends :)! Yes the artwork and design is fantastic! I got mine from the Canadian Amazon, my local board game store didn't get any copies yet.
@@WatchItPlayed I did not imply that the symbols required to match. I did not listen properly and at 12:35 I was left with the impression that in order to get the bonus the symbols could not match. While reviewing this the issue was cleared up; you require two landmarks, whether they match or not. In addition I then was aware that some dead ends do not in fact have landmarks. Thank you for clarifying!
Thanks for the kind words. I find it tough to assess Analysis Paralysis as I find that tends to come down to the players in a lot of cases. Some games where people will complain about AP, another group will say they had no trouble. It's hard for me to judge without knowing the players. That said, this is a favorite of mine, so it's not been a concern for me personally.
Definitely see some elements from other tile placement games like Lanterns, Tsuro and especially Carcassonne. Definitely would like to try this. Thanks for the tutorial! :)
I love the games that just say if u had the most fulfilling time, u win! Lol but I have a couple of questions about it... 1. when u say “ once all of an achievement/landmark token is collected by other players” I’m guessing that’s just stating that a player can’t gain the same token 2x? And 2. How do u get coins and y would u want them? I could only assume it’s to pay for the characters and u gain them thru blue gates but if I could do that same thing with any other landmarks and those give me pts, y bother with coins?
1) You'll never have more than one of each type of token - and in some cases there is ONLY 1 of a type of token, so only 1 person can get that. 2) You get coins at the start of the game - that's explained in the setup. This just gives you the ability to pay for a visitor ability at the very start of the game. You never get coins again. They are different than tokens though, as you can't make a "set" with them... they can only help pay for visitors.

Yay! So glad you were finally able to get a copy :)

Great job Rodney.
I’ll watch for the video on game night.
Really enjoyed the video, I brought the game yesterday and we got our head around the basic rules but this really clarified it nicely.
Very glad this helped. We just played again last weekend, so I hope you have a good time with it!
Such a lovely game. I can't wait to get it and play it. I think it'll be my go-to relaxing solo.
We just broke it out recently as well - I hope you have a great time playing!
So, in theory, japanese Carcassonne? I'm game. :3
While they both have tiles, I find they play quite differently. Thanks for checking the video out!

And your smiling face just popped up in my feed for Roam (which I'm curious about!). Looking forward to watching!
Good tutorial. It is an interesting game.
I appreciate you checking it out!
Yup. This is going to be a great present for my wife. She will LOVE this! You are definitely the best game tutorial producer ever!
Thank you Frank - I think you'll both really like this one!
Watch It Played Yes, Sir! It looks really fun!!!!! I am going to see if my FLGS has it. Trying to get as much business to them as I can...
First I thought it was similar to Carcassonne. Then I saw some elements of Wizard always wins. Looks interesting overall. Thanks for the walkthrough!
Glad you enjoyed this one!
Got this game recently after watching your video and literally its my favourite game right now! Thanks so much its so good!

@@iamlordstark Thanks for the info. I just followed up with the publisher, and I hear that by next week things should be moving for them again!
In your example, the second enclosure you created only had symbols of one time. Is only the first enclosure required to have two different symbols?
Hey Pedro, the symbols are not required to match. You'll find that explained here: ruclips.net/video/-MXMkCdSXeE/видео.html

@@Tyrogandio No worries at all - glad to be able to assist!
That looks like a fun one.
this looks like Tokaido + Tsuro, and i love it
Thanks for checking it out!
As always, such a clear and concise demo!! That said, it looks rather confusing... Does it tend toward analysis paralysis?

Be honest, how many takes did you do before you got that wonderful throw and catch for the opening?!
Are you suggesting it wasn't on the first attempt? *gasp* ;)
@@WatchItPlayed Haha, wouldn't doubt it for a minute! :) It's a really good game, we played through it today and enjoyed it a lot.
Great video
Thanks! Hoping more people discover this one!
@@WatchItPlayed agreed, I'm trying to get it to the table today
really nice game :) I want to play it :D
Can you please do a how it’s played for game “Killer Bunnies”?
Thanks for the interest. I talk a bit about that here: ruclips.net/video/EdtDuvIUa6A/видео.html&t=342

How many times did it take you to nail the flip at the beginning? xD
Why, first time, every time, of course ;)
How many takes did that intro take you lmfao
