The fact that you guys always have the races uploaded in the same week is amazing. You guys at imsa never disappoint. I did watch the race from start to finish, but it was so good like usual I have to watch again. Keep this up🔥🔥🔥🔥
10-12 minutes probably makes sense for an endurance race, but for 100 minutes? Either way, please feel free to send an email to info@imsa.com and your feedback will be passed along to the production team. Thanks!
Valiant last effort by Ricky, which does not overshadow that superb pass on the 7 Porsche minutes before. Great driver! And, thank you, @IMSA Official , for another great show!
@@nkonyaYou are right. I got caught up in all of the excitement and did not even notice it. Apparently, neither did the marshalls. Unsually. Before that, should have he not get penalised for avoidable contact with Campbell, given how sensitive those are are with the aero (or no aero)?
@@nkonya Isn't "the track" defined by the white line, not the curb? i.e., if you go all four wheels past the white line, even if you still have two wheels on the curb, you can get dinged for track limits, right? Well, if you look, you'll notice that there is no white line for a lot of this circuit; "the track" is defined by the white wall instead. This is typical for street circuits. At that particular corner, then, the curb is inside the track limits, ergo no penalty.
So happy I was able to see it in person with my dad, last time we went I was 11 and it was 2016, amazing experience as we are both die hard motorsport and car enthusiasts!
Omg this felt like an eternity waiting for IMSA to upload. You know how hard it was not clicking on the highlight clip on here. 😂😂 let go racing IMSA…😎
So my dad loved racing and he turned me onto the film Le Mans which led me to this great racing series. This was so much better than watching Brighton and United paint dry for 120 minutes. Thanks for reminding me what sport can and should be.
@IMSA, Thank you so much for uploading this so that we may have an opportunity to see it with the excellent IMSA Radio coverage. One question however, why wasn't Shea Adam there? She's a pillar of the broadcast and, with the additonal expertise of jeremy and john takes IMSA beyond anything NBC has to offer in terms of broadcast quality. I think I read somewhere that the team was not on location for this race, maybe that is related if true and, since I typically consider this broadcast team to be my favorite in motorsports, that sounds disappointing, rather they ought to be given a blank check for what they do to bring attention to the sport :)
Yeah the Toyota domination has been killing the series but it's a given since they've been in the class since day 1 compared to the others. Give it some time and probably other LMH and even GTPs can compete
@@restautama Have you seen this year's Le Mans yet? I think they got it right. The only cars in the hypercar class that weren't competitive were cars whose teams or drivers had problems that weren't related to BOP (crashes, mechanical issues, etc). And yeah, the GTP's did just fine. Toyota now has to fight for every inch of track, but they're very good at fighting. This year's race was no gimme. It was treacherous!
Porsche 963 gave the ARX-06 a hell of a competition this time, horrible move by Ricky Taylor at the end and he tempted fate the same way a few times, must be a lot of pressure to work for your family. I bet Jordan has a much more fun time racing with Corvette guys. Thank you for the very high quality upload, now I can use NBC Sports app for Premier League alone and NEVER see another ad just racing👌
This is what the Peacock coverage should be like. NBC shoehorns too many commercials into the race and it makes it way too difficult to keep track of all the classes especially in this short of a race. When i watch WEC on motortrend i dont have to watch commercials and thus the coverage is better.
Fantastic coverage! The first few minutes started with a yellow flag and with 2 laps to go, it ended with yellow flag. Props to Matt Campbell for managing to hold off the cars behind him for 3-4 laps (I lost count haha) even with damaged car. Also, props to Ricky Taylor too! He and that car is fast.
GREAT RACE. Thanks IMSA and all the teams... The Acura's are just better than everyone else, since DPi days. Happy to see Porsche win but sad for Taylor. He had him, just slightly over cooked it. Would like to see the Caddy's more competitive but it seems they just off the pace compared to the Acuras at every track so far. Just an observation. From DPi of the past few years to GTP now, it seems the Acura's are just better and faster in turns and straights than everyone else. If they fall behind because of traffic etc, witn a lap or two they right back on whoever is in front of them. If the drivers don't make mistakes or get into an accident, they will always win regardless of track config. Really would like to see a more competitive race at the front end by all the cars.
THank you IMSA for the content! I feel like the production here wasn't super good; a lot of battles and overtakes were missed that I thought were natural to include. Also the graphics, fonts in particular, are too tiny, with too little contrast, to make out. I get that this is 720p on YT but that's not my concern. Not all TVs are 60" 4k. Designers/companies/producers nowadays are way too timid about using the real estate they have available for clear, proper info. 2019's style was far better.
Ricky Taylor was way too agressive in my opinion on that stint; overtook the porsche by cutting a corner, pushed the 25 bmw wide when it was going to be overtaken.
That’s what I thought too. I mean he completely cut the track to get pass the Porsche. I would’ve been on the radio if I was in the Porsche to complain 😂.
meh the porsche's drive extremely aggressive defense. Only way to overtake on a course like this is to be very aggressive. People keep complaining about the Acura's but they keep getting screwed. BMW took out MS Acura on the first lap lmao. Oh but Taylor/Albi are so aggressive! Cmon people.
Assuming you are talking about 1:36:51 , the kerb does not define the track limit here in IMSA, there a white line along the wall, which defines the track limits
@@KompressorV6 Campbell was barely defending! He was mostly on the racing line and braking late. Jaminet was on the racing line as well when Taylor outbraked himself.
Is it just me or the video is not loading properly? Keeps stuttering and freezing and I have to skip 5s to pass it. It doesn't happen to any other videos
Great race again! About the ending: #10 got what it deserved in this race. Usually I'm a fan, but here it was too agressive. Destroyed the #7s race, almost pushed the #25 into the wall. Acuras need to chill more this season
why do most of the race videos have points where they freeze and so you have to skip ahead and miss that part, especially on the apps, its very annoying!!!
IMSA does it again. 😁 Brilliant to see the whole race so soon. That's why I support you guys.
💯🔥👍
Finally the race is here. I avoided every type of spoilers in the last five days.
WeatherTech Championship races are published to RUclips and IMSA.com the Thursday following the live TV broadcast. Enjoy!

The last 20 minutes were crazy
The Race was awesome!!!!!!!! Sooo much action everywhere! I think WEC can learn a lot from IMSA
